Also I am complaining not saying it should be NERFED.Nerfed means a signifacant reduction in sonething.It can take 8 RPGs,so I am saying it should able to take 3-5 RPGs,which is quite a bit.I know you can shoot out the windows.But the OP is TALKING ABOUT THE DURABILITY IT CAN TAKE FROM EXPLOSIVES

Nothing needs to be nerfed. And all the other vehicles that have been nerfed, need to be returned back to normal. The Hydra, Savage, and Valkyrie all need better armor. The Karen technical needs to be PV vehicle which can be modded.

 

The whole games getting f*cked cause of this sh*t, and all our toys are damn near useless now. A $3 million dollar helicopter can get dropped by a little sniper fire, or one homing missile. A damn gunship that is fortress irl, is a target made of glass in this game.

 

f*ck the nerfs, put everything back to equal, like it was. And if you suck ass at fighting a heli, jet, tank, or whatever, well you better find a way to get good at it instead of crying so damn hard that you make R* ruin the game for everyone else, and ruin all of our extremely expensive toys.

The only armored vehicle I kinda have a problem with is the armored kuruma... It's not a big deal but since the only way to kill who's inside is to blow it up, it sucks to have to pay insurance. Only thing.

I think it's fine, leave it alone, if you stand and fight you can still take them down. I used a couple homers on one followed up with a mini gun and that was the end of him. He had previous damage from sticking bombing people though. Of course I could be in my own insurgent and be safe as houses.

 

I definitely don't want another vehicle nerfed after I've spent money. I'd also not be against the tank having the same armour as the insurgent. Plenty firepower from the air around these days to deal with them.

Okay. Seriously. Yeah, it's awesome that this vehicle can withstand over 5 direct RPG hits. But honestly it ruins the beauty of the game in the ability to be successful in combat with many combinations of play style.

 

I believe one of the greatest things about GTA is that you have so many options of vehicles, tactical style, etc that make many different tactics effective in beating other players in deathmatches or freeroam firefights.

 

I find that often times I can do just as well in my Manana as in my Buffalo S.

 

Obviously, everyone could attack this and be like "Yeah hurdurdurbut the ZENTORNO is really just the best vehicle because fastest speed+bulletproof back+so expensive people don't like blowing it up".

Okay, sure. But I could still at least blow it up in a second if someone was trying to be a jerk and rear-end me with it because they lack real gunplay skill.

 

Now you have the Insurgent. An ugly, ridiculously bulletproofed armageddon.

And everyone's about to say: "but you can shoot through the windows! You're just a noob cause you don't shoot through the windows! Can you not hit the guys driving it??!?!!1?!!"

 

These people clearly have not had to deal with a persistent team of three+ people in one these that drives in front of/past you, because this argument doesn't seem to realize that the vehicle is damn near 100% bulletproof from behind, despite the fact that occupants can shoot anyone around the vehicle from inside.

 

I am not by any means suggesting the vehicle be nerfed to blow up in one explosion like a regular vehicle. After all, it is armored for a reason. However I think it would be completely reasonable to have the vehicle explode in 2-3 explosive hits (depending on location) versus the current ridiculous resistance which forces opponents to either pull out their own Insurgent or get in a jet or tank to compete- which in my opinion are silly explosive escalations which detract from what's really neat about the game by taking away the point of playing on foot/mastering and fooling about with the many non-armored cars the game offers.

 

Just my two pennies.

I have run into only 2 players using insurgents. The first shot me while I was in the store with his pistol. Then I respawned and he tried to chase me down in his insurgent... i blew him up with my grenade launcher and walked away.

 

 

 

The second time, me and my friends were being chased around by 3 players using a mounted gun insurgent and it was some of the most epic stuff I've seen in the game. We never tried to kill them, but simply enjoyed the chase as we fled into the hills using my pickup truck.

 

 

I see no sense in nerfing it. Just turn on passive if it bothers you.
