Let's Nerf the Insurgent

Insurgent is not bothering me in any way. I'm either too fast for them or too far away from them, unless I'm looking for trouble and you should do the same.

 

Nevertheless, I'm against of any erratic gameplay rebalancing. That's stupid, unprofessional and it screams "poor game design".

The army is completely useless in GTA. The way they just sit in their bunker and keep to themselves reminds me of Fallout:New Vegas' Brotherhood of Steel - a powerful "army" that can take on anyone in the Mojave but chooses to hide and let the world destroy itself.

The Mojave BoS was a shell of itself they were defeated by NCR and had absolutely no friends, just about everyone hated them. They maybe had 40 members

But the tank protects a user from all gunfire and fires explosive one hit kills. Insurgent does neither.

Yes, I understand that, and it's not what I mean, I think it's fine the way it is. What I mean is that it doesn't really makes sense since a tank is stronger than an armored pickup.

 

But I'm not saying it should be changed, it's just a bit unrealistic, unlogical.

i wouldn't say nerf the insurgent. there's lots of easy strategies to simply shoot the driver out of it

 

the only thing about it i'd say needs to be nerfed is the insurance.

 

reason being that in some situations, the best way to get rid of it is to blow it up (high speed chases mostly). and having to pay 17K for it is a bit harsh, seeing as the car is basically a weapon at this point.
