Hell I don't even have the vehicle and I know it doesn't need nerfed. it's easy to take these out you just need to learn how to think on your toes. You see one coming for you, get on high ground (make sure there are no stairs) and have your Advanced rifle ready for war.

 

If it's an Insurgent Pickup just do the same thing but have a bigger wall or ledge to hide behind, blind fire at the gunnder then take the rest out like you would normally.

Finding a new session is the best method to deal with griefers. First off, never understood the freeroam "kill everyone" mentality but that's what GTA has been reduced to. GTA IV had people doing stunts at the airport - repetitive, yes, but killing wasn't in every lobby. I keep saying this but there's deathmatch where the point is to kill others and it pays you for it. There's the argument of not being able to retreat or use the map fully, etc. but deathmatches can get way more heated than freeroam. So yeah, freeroam is just one big deathmatch at the moment and the tools we get to aid us in killing others is absurd. Think about it: petty thieves who can rob corner stores and banks alike can buy military vehicles...with no background check or no real consequences apart from the cops getting on our backs. The army is completely useless in GTA. The way they just sit in their bunker and keep to themselves reminds me of Fallout:New Vegas' Brotherhood of Steel - a powerful "army" that can take on anyone in the Mojave but chooses to hide and let the world destroy itself.

I'll probably be the only one to believe this but GTA needs a reboot. Remove stuff that we couldn't buy in the real-world (decommissioned war vehicles can be bought by civilians, yes, but they don't go tearing the town up in a tank). But that's gonna anger a lot of people and put R* in hot water. An easy fix would be to make multiple lobby choices. The downside would be that lobbies, being more divided, would lack players in some but the lobbies you get would get more specialized in the type of session you want to play in. So Red Dead Redemption had friendly fire off lobbies. People could still shoot your horse and blow you up with TNT but you died far less. You could join one of these and expect to see most players doing gang hideouts, posse up and try to get the top posse score of the lobby. GTA V has gang hideouts...if only it had a posse system (which would also fix the issue of finding a lobby and quickly inviting your friend in but the spot got taken, now known as the queue). That would bypass the queue and take the whole posse along with the leader to the new found session.

I seriously think more lobby options would help this game become less gun-totting, where everyone is always at war. That way there would be no need to nerf stuff. You want to kill people? Go in normal lobbies, pick your targeting system and call in your Insurgent as there's a war going on no matter what. Want to use that Insurgent for good? Go in friendly fire off lobbies, drive up to someone fighting the cops and help them out. The ability to buy military vehicles in a criminal game is a bit much, even if we're the hardcore type, but adding companionship instead of killing everyone we see would help make these vehicles worth buying. We can't simply nerf everything that displeases us. Firstly, R* need to get their sh*t together. They're trying to appeal to so many people and stretching themselves thin. They heard us moan about stealth being useless so made some heists that had actual stealth as the premise. If we pitch them an idea about a proper lobby system instead of bitching to make something less powerful (the f*cking truck is armored - it does what it should) would make way more sense.

Can't wait until the starting pistol kills everyone because all the weapons will be nerfed to basically a water gun.
