bullsh*t, Your KD has only to do with the way you play this game. When i use jets and tanks all the time, i would probably have a 10+ kd. When i play a lot of deathmatches, my kd would probably under 2.0. When i'm a pussy, kill only noobs and avoid good players, my kd would probably 3.83. or higher.

The statistic would mean a lot more if was only used for competitive game modes only, such as Deathmatches, LTS's or Captures. The fact that you can pad it in free roam kind of makes it pointless.

 

In short no. To most people they won't care what your K/D ratio is, the only types that care are usually players that have been playing games like COD or Battlefield for so long they don't know anything else.

I got 2.68 but I dont even care about it anymore I dont go freeroaming killing frenzies like I used to, now its just kill me and ima kill you back type of thing

 

I got a similar attitude as well. I stopped caring after hitting 2.5 but I managed to bring it up to just over 3. I left my killing/griefing frenzies behind me as well and take a laid back approach. I enjoy the game more because of it. But I still like a good fight when I'm challenged or playing with friends.

a high kdr doesn't mean much. you can easily pad it by being a pussy and using cheap tactics like sniping afk players and jet griefing while using passive mode as a cruch.

 

However a low kdr does mean you suck. I don't care what anyone says here if you have a kdr of 0.18 and are a rank 200 you suck. I see it all the time.

 

The facts are that ranks are no guarantee of skill (high or low) and neither is a high kdr. But a low kdr does mean you suck.

To be honest it doesn't really matter in any game... Just have fun and don't worry about it... It's once I started worrying about that kind of stuff that gaming became more of a chore.

 

My kd in this game is 1.14 or something and sometimes I do great games in dm and sometimes I don't, doesn't matter on the players, with the same people, I can do sometimes very different scores.

Depends. You could take Call of Duty as a your "Competitive Game" and GTA 5 as your "Lay back and F*ck around game". I try my best only once in awhile if I feel it's worth the kill or to hear someone freak out on the mic, or just to get a laugh if I sneak them. xD

It's a good estimate of how good they are. It doesn't have a massive purpose, but it does have some purpose.

 

Majority of the entire gamebase has a 1.00 and under. The extensive freeroam playing and messing around has given people bad KDR's, so it's not always a perfect gauge of how good they are, but with some it is. Mines 1.60, and I rarely see people higher than that.

Mine was 2.01. After transferring to PS4 and not playing deathmatches as much I'm at 1.84, purely from messing around with crew mates. It doesn't mean anything in the grand scheme of things.

A high K/D ratio just means you either have a bigger D*ck or tighter P*ssy than the rest of the population. The lower the K/D the smaller the Penis and the Wider the Vagina.

Does it really matter? as in, if you have a low k/d ratio are you considered crap?

There will be some fools who care enough to kick you from a mission lobby because you have a low one. Rockstar clearly have an image of people who care or brag about their KDR, and that image is Jimmy.

 

Mine sucks, it's like 0.8 or something because:

 

1, I mostly do invite only

2, when I do free roam and someone kills me, my only goal is to get 1 kill back on them

3, I don't play hide and seek, if you want to fight me, get out and fight, I'm out in the open, an easy target.

4, mine took a bit of a hit recently because I played a bunch of death matches (don't usually) wearing the night vision goggles to get the chrome bike rims.
