Hi everyone. i installed gta sa on my gaming rig and nothing worked right. first of all the mouse does not work unless you disable all the cores except cpu 0. the next problem is the resolution is stuck at 800x600 and it wont let me go up 1080p or 5760x1080. and it wont let me change the anti aliasing. so guys please tell me what is going wrong here and how to fix it.

You have the DVD (v2 or V1), or the STEAM registered Down Load (v3)?

Windows 8?

Installed with Admin Privileges?

Using *Compatibility mode* (XP, or if mouse problems Win98)?

Usually multi-Core affinity setting is "0".

The game selects the "Best" setting available with the video Graphics card automatically.

For comparison:

Recommended System Requirements for GTA: San Andreas:

• Intel Pentium 4 or AMD Athlon XP processor (or better)

• XP, Vista, Windows 7.

• 384(+) MB of RAM

• 16x DVD-ROM drive (or download [which I do not recommend]

• 4.7 GB of free Hard Disk space for a full install

• ★128(+) MB Video Card with DirectX 9 compatible drivers ("GeForce4" or better)

• DirectX 9 compatible Surround Sound Card

• Keyboard & Mouse

• <Optional> GamePad with twin axis analog controls (USB or Joystick Port) (Not a console controller)

ONE post should be enough. Use the EDIT feature to Add, change, or delete Text.

How did the game play before you put the mods into it?

Hi there. sorry for the multiple posts. and i have the v2 dvd. i have not modded it. installed on windows 8. admin privileges idk. have not used compatibility mode yet. i have set the affinity to cpu 0. the only mod i put into it was an 100% save file (but it was doing it before i installed the save file) the only machine it works fine is my: intel core 2 duo with radeon 5450 gpu and a soundblaster sound card. it runs windows vista

You are playing with the DVD in the Drive.

Right click on the Desktop Icon and select "Run using Admin Priv."

Resolution: If other settings are available you can select it in the games options, if not then the video card you have does not support the Game in that settin3\

Three screens... When you select the screen for the game, did you select the resolution you want?

The game looks much the same regardless of higher resolution selections..

Sorry if this insults your intelligence or anything, but sometimes I forget that I have to click enter on the field which I am trying to edit and it doesn't take effect. Could this be your problem?
