Do you expect new content for GTAV after the PC release?

Seeing as online got all the love recently i believe that once the PC release is stable Rockstar will be working hard on Single Player DLC/expansion content which will have to be released across all platforms simultaneously i think it will be released in 3-6 months.

That's an absurd question....since they already stated in an article, that regular updates and DLC would be released in the future....but LG consoles may or may not....due to hardware limitations....

 

And what makes you think that there won't be any new content?

I wonder if Rockstar will release big content on consoles first, so that people who owns a console and PC have to buy on console first then PC again. Double profit.

I don't think there won't be any more GTA Online updates. They were saving for heists. Heists was their BIG major update for GTA Online. So it's safe to assume that there'll be no more GTAO updates.

 

The next thing they're gonna focus is the Single player DLC which should come out for the consoles first and later release it for the PC.

When did i say anything about no new content? In fact I didn't give any opinion myself in the opening post, just posted the poll and tried to give enough options to satisfy everyone's choices

 

It's not an absurd questions, no one knows for sure or exactly how much content is coming for the game in the future.

 

And for the record, personally i think there's a few months worth of content still on the way, at least. I just don't know and thought i'd be interesting to see what others think.

GTA V is loved by many, but is this so much love because of SP or MP ?, don't know that, but if GTA V is going to stay alive for a longer time, it's stays alive because of MP. Developers pay more attention towards MP anyway, sure there's going to be SP dlc at some point in time, but not anytime soon i guess, everything is taking ages literally, like they didnt give a ****.

With GTA Online you can see they're settling themselves in for a WoW or TF2 experience. Updates and new content favoured over a whole new game. I don't know how well Single Player will be treated, though.

I tend to beleive they will just start work on the next GTA game. There's no point making small change when you can make another billion+ with a new release.

There will be new official content but I believe the community will be adding more interesting things in a more timely manner than Rockstar can following the PC release. I expect modders to step in and release lots of mods that add new content and make freeroam GTAO a more intense experience. However, I also anticipate GTAV having brand new DRM dedicated towards stopping people from running modified copies of the game, so what I expect to happen is there will be a large portion of the online community running the game vanilla, and a small percentage of rogue modders who prefer playing in modded lobbies with lots of custom, extraneous modded content.

 

No ideas as to how Rockstar is going to treat modders; perhaps they'll be indefinitely marked as bad sports on official lobbies until they restore the vanilla state of the game, or maybe they'll be entirely prevented from playing the game. I do expect some sort of harsh punishment for cheating. I feel like the PC version's economy is not going to fare well against cheaters.

If there will be any new content Cockstar's gonna push it to consoles first. PC will have all the DLCs years later.

I expect all of those things, for the upcoming years. GTA V is still kinda their 'main' game at the moment, and I'm probably expecting updates until at least the announcement of the next GTA.

There are still quite a bit of mysteries that need solving (from what I've seen), and there are also quite a bit of things found in the code that might have something to do with upcoming updates. Like jetpack or casinos.

Old and current gen consoles got heists at the same time, once PC is out all 3 platforms will get DLC together.
