Heist Vehicles that are a must have and those that are unnecessary.

Hi, I will share my personal opinion on which Heist vehicles are a must have whether its your PV or a pegasus vehicle and those that aren't necessary. Please share your opinions on my input, thanks.

I will list the names of the vehicles and let you know if it's a decent purchase:

Fleeca Bank Unlock

Karin Kuruma (Armoured): If you have the cash and the garage space this car is a must have, it's a sports car, with decent handling, good speed, a 4-seater, oh and pretty much completely bulletproof unless you let players rifle your car at close range, its also fully customisable (no respray or mod issues, and don't need to purchase armour or bulletproof tyres as they are pre-installed).

Karin Kuruma (Unarmoured): Quite frankly there is not point to owning this car while you can have the armoured version, even as a sports 4-seater its slower than Franklin's Buffalo, so I would say purchase of this PV is based on preference and not necessary.

Prison Break Unlock

Lampadi Casco: This isn't necessary but personally I like this car a lot better than Monroe, so if you do sports classic races then you clearly need Z-type but for it's cruising abilitie Lampadi Casco looks fantastic and drives really well.

5-Seater Vellum: Really Really not necessary to purchase unless you want to own every pegasus vehicle in the game, as it's not even close to the best plane in the game, really no point.

Prison Bus: Uhm.........if you want a multiple seater just get the insurgent pickup, apparently it can hold 9 players lol

Humane Lab Raid:

Mammoth Hydra: Uhm....if you have been playing GTA since atleast San Andreas days, I don't think I even need to persuade those players to get this plane. Honestly it's not as amazing as I had expected but still it's the only plane in the game that can hover land and take off and fly faster than everything in the game aside from the P-lazer.

Valkyrie: Honestly this depends on how you play GTA online, if you play with tons of crews or friends, this is an awesome heli to freeroam troll with since it can man 3 other players that are equipped with guns on the heli. Remember though that the pilot can't operate any of the weapons on this Heli, so as a single person Heli flyer, this heli is as good as the unarmed buzzard lol.

HVY Insurgent: This is a must have in my opinion. It is the only PV vehicle that not only has a bulletproof back but the whole vehicle is explosive resistant and can take upto 4 rockets/stickies before flaming up, and I think like 3 tank shots (this I haven't tested). Also it has great handling, traction, 6-seater & speed for an off-roader vehicle.

Insurgent-Pickup: seats 9 ppl, has a gun that can be operated by another player on the top and shares all the other features as the PV insurgent. Great if you have friends to troll others in free-roam with.

Nagasaki Dinghy: Meh, get it if you want to own all pegasus vehicle, nothing really great about it.

Night Vision Goggles: Hell yea its a must have, especially if you are a sniper in the game.

Rebreather: Pretty awesome option, to be able to breathe under water for long periods of time, not sure if it has a real purpose in GTAO as there isn't much explore at the moment but certainly good to have a few in your stock, incase of unforeseen circumstances lol

Series A

Karin Technical: Please, don't buy this unless you are doing so to finish owning all pegasus vehicle, its a horribly sh*tty version of insurgent, barely any armour and doesn't even have bulletproof tyres, just don't get his if you haven't already got an insurgent pickup.

Mule: Uhm, its a box truck, wtf would you want one.

Pacific Standard

Brute Boxville: Another ordinary truck, need I say more?

Declasse Gang Burrito: If you always wanted to own a van, then this is the best van to own in the game, otherwise just give this one a miss.

Savage Attack Heli: better armour than the assault buzzard but slower than it and less manuervrability. I'd say it is a must have if you played the sh*t out of Hunter in GTA: SA or you really want to rain a whole lot of explosive rounds and missiles on NPC and players. But don't get it if you want to have one go to Heli for missions and stuff if you already own the Assault buzzard.

Principe Lectro: Don't get this if you want to replace your race bike with the lectro, since you can't use the nos function in races and this bike is slow as f*ck without the nos. On the other hand it is a lot of fun in the free-roam section of the game and with the nos it really gives a nice speed sensation. Own it for the purpose of novelty of the nos feature is too enticing or you don't race and really want a bike just to cruise around, this bike is pretty fun to ride around with.

This is purely my opinion and personal experience with all the unlocked vehicles. Please give your opinion too and correct me if I have misrepresented any facts about any of these unlocked vehicles, thanks.

Update: Heist Vehicles which I missed out (That were unlocked with the Heist release)

Vapid Guardian: I personally don't own this vehicle and I'm not sure of the vehicle's performance, there was one person in the comment below that said it is an alternative to the Sandking XL, from my memory the SK XL is supposed to be the fastest off-roader in the game, I am not sure if the Vapid is faster than it or not if it is then I guess you should be replacing the XL with VG, but if VG isn't the fastest off-roader, I again don't see the point of getting this vehicle aside from you like how the vehicle looks (aesthetics), because if you need a 6-seater you got the insurgent which is also armoured and comes with bulletproof tyres. I will say not necessary if VG isn't the fastest off-roader.

Principe Nemesis: Uhm, apparently this bike is an alternative to the dirt bike........hmmm.... well frankly in this game the akuma and bati have such amazing handling off-roader and are much faster than the sanchez, so I'd say for any stunt or off-road biking Akuma/Bati are definitely the better option anyways, add to that the new Principe Lecter with is nos (KERS) feature is freakin' awesome for stunts and so much fun, I really don't see how an ordinary dirt bike which might be slightly better than the other sh*tty dirt bike in the game be worth getting lol, unless you are a bike enthusiast that is collecting all types of bikes in your garage, I'd say you can give this heist bike a miss. (Note: this was a purely personal biased opinion based on the facts that were presented to me about this bike through the forum, I haven't personally tested the bike as I'm not rich enough to waste my GTA$ on such unnecessary expenditures lol)

I agree with you, OP... The Savage (IMO) is absolutely more dangerous to be in its path compared to the Buzzard. The Buzzard is more maneuverable but those cannons and rapid fire rockets on the Savage are much more potent. It was definitely a must have for me.

I wouldn't say the Karuma Armoured is a must have. The Zentoro is faster and has a 100% bullet proof back

You need savage, it has no rocket cooldown, best for mission, even of you have buzzard, and yeah better cover against ai bullets.

I would like to know this and despite searching I just haven't seen the right results come up to give me the answers.

When you buy the insurgent pickup and valkyrie, Pegasus vehicles, what color do you get them in? I don't see an ordering option for color, and I've seen them in either multiple colors or with different decals. So when you call Pegasus does it just come randomly colored or is it the same thing every time?

The Kuruma is a four seater and you don't have to look like an idiot driving backwards everywhere.

Edit: It's also cheaper than a Zentorno and comes with bulletproof tyres as standard.

What about the Enduro and Guardian?

The Guardian is a better alternative to the Sandking IMO. It seats 6 people, plus players can stand in the back without falling off, making it paricularly useful for missions that involve heated chases and taking out choppers.

I'm not much of a bike expert, but I think the Enduro is 2nd best to the Sanchez as far as offroading goes.

I definitely think the Kuruma is better than my Zentorno!

Do the night vision goggles really help as much as people make out?

Prison Break Unlock

Lampadi Casco: This isn't necessary but personally I like this car a lot better than Monroe, so if you do sports classic races then you clearly need Z-type but for it's cruising abilitie Lampadi Casco looks fantastic and drives really well. don't really like the handling but whatever suits your style

Declasse Gang Burrito: If you always wanted to own a van, then this is the best van to own in the game, otherwise just give this one a miss.

Savage Attack Heli: better armour than the assault buzzard i'm pretty sure it doesn't have better armour, but if it's stronger it's oh so slightly. gets taken down by a few heavy sniper shots/one homing launcher but slower than it and less manuervrability and big af. I'd say it is a must have if you played the sh*t out of Hunter in GTA: SA or you really want to rain a whole lot of explosive rounds and missiles on NPC and players when it gets its buff; as it is now it's impossible to dodge a homing launcher with this thing. But don't get it if you want to have one go to Heli for missions and stuff if you already own the Assault buzzard.

Principe Lectro: Don't get this if you want to replace your race bike with the lectro, since you can't use the nos it's KERS. function in races and this bike is slow as f*ck without the nos KERS. The AK does too.It also has bulletproof side windows and front shield. It seats 4 people.Get the Zentorno if you want to,IDGAF but the Armored Kuruma will always be superior for protection.

I strongly disagree with your opinion of the Technical. It is EXTREMELY powerful, and if you have a friend with you it can be very fun. The machine gun is a lot more powerful then the Insurgents, and it appears as a normal blip instead of an armored one. You can also easily gun down all aircraft with it; I've shot down about four hydras with it, even when they were moving at high speed, as well as two armored insurgent drivers and their gunners. You can also hop on the back even if noone else is manning the vehicle. About one bullet kills a player at full health, and with about three seconds of steady fire at a chopper it goes down. It may not be as practical as the Insurgent Pickup, but the fun I've had with it has made it worth every cent. If you're looking for a vehicle to use in missions, don't get it, but if you want fun, its amazing.

As someone who owns the savage, its FAR better then the buzzard in missions. Notice how I said in missions; its almost impossible to grief someone with it due to its garbage speed [Guided Launcher, Minigun, Heavy Sniper]. So if you're a griefer, get the insurgent pickup or Valkyrie instead. But its almost infinitely better then the buzzard in missions.

The Armored Kuruma is an absolute must have though. I totally agree with that.
