mr quick
There will always be someone who mourns a death, though. I can't think of any person whose death was universally seen as positive. slimeball supreme
Black Terminator
It's really sad when anyone dies in this world because of the family being effected in many ways and could lead to decades of depression.
Smith John
Well if it were to be Russell Brand with his little 'The Trews' (haha, what a fantastically inventive way to splice together two words. Man, that guy is so funny haha) show, then frankly I couldn't give a baboon's baw hair. bash the fash m8s
igotskiz
If you let gamers impact your life, there's something wrong. Actually, if anyone in the world actually lets that god-awful PewDiePie influence their life in any way, they should probably rethink it a little. He's not a hero. Never said he was. But watching his videos after a sh*tty day at school (which was usually every day) is a pattern that me and millions of other people have/had, and is sort of the reason he is so popular. He can very easily relate to a lot of loner gamers and younger generations of people. The dude doesn't have summot 8-ish(?) million subscribers for nothing. Crazyeighties
I feel bad for the family and friends of people that die, especially someone that becomes apart of your everyday life. When I was growing up I spent a lot of time in hospitals. Every day a kid did not come into the common room it was the worst. We knew when others were sent home but there was a heavy feeling I remember when I found out my friend Matt died I am a little choaked up even typing about it it was one of the hardest losses I can remember in my life
don ovdi' island
With all due respect, i must say I'm baffled by many of these "I cried" posts. How you could literally feel pain for an individual who couldn't care less about you and doesn't even know you is unbeknownst to me. It only makes me question the age of some of these posters.. because it makes me wonder how these people would deal with the real life death of someone actually close to them, and by adulthood, chances are very high that you would have lost at least one person. Not to say that children dont lose people close to them (or even closer to them that they may know), but more along the lines that the older you get, the number of real life family or friends departing from their physical form only gets higher. I just dont understand, the only reasonable person i could actually grieve for would probably be a musician if they touched me spiritually, and it wouldn't be crying. Perhaps a few prayers to my God, regardless if they were religious or atheist, send condolences to their families, and make sure that they continued to live on thru their music via letting it continue to touch me. With that being said, I do feel for the families of anyone who dies under any circumstance, because wether they related to us or not, whether positive or negative, they are still dead and the people who did actually love them will never get them back. However, I wouldn't, hell, i couldn't, drop tears for a you tuber dying or even another forumer, unless i knew them personally. I've lost so many people in the real world i'm numb to everyone and anyone who i couldn't rely on in a real life situation. Not to say I wouldn't help another human in need, if the real life situation depended on it, but that's a whole different discussion. 9i OTD
I once had a dream were Link from Rhett and Link died, so Rhett had to do Good Mythical Morning either by himself or with his children. It was soooooo f*cking horrible. More recently, I had a dream where Rhett went missing for three days before they found his dead body in an open sewage pipe. I asked if I could keep his body in the backseat of my car and they said yes. Either way, both dreams gave me an insight to the feeling of a favourite YouTuber dying. And it doesn't feel too good. Bxx
Don't really care. Not trying to be edgy or anything, but this sort of thing only affects me when the person who died is someone close to me.
igotskiz
I question the intelligence of those subscribers, in fact most subscribers in general. What you like to view is not causation of one's intelligence. Correlation, maybe, but not causation. @dreadluxx People react to different things in different ways. Some people cry at nothing (read: sociopaths), others cry at everything with a potential to be sad, and more cry only when someone close to them dies. Pretty close-minded to say you don't understand why some people don't do things just because you don't. Edited March 31, 2015 by igotskiz
paperbagdude
I don't care about most deaths in general. I'm just not as sympathic as I used to be. Actors, neighbors, kids, old people - you name it. And YouTubers, oh boy, could I care less?

It's close minded of me to say i don't understand why people don't do things because i don't? What? I think i get the jist, but still. I guess if you're prone to depression or emotionally challenged then i guess yeah, the death of someone who doesn't know you, doesn't care about you, and sure as hell wouldn't be there for you if you needed them could make you upset enough to cry. Couldn't be me tho.
