We need user locks on Pegasus vehicles.

As much as I enjoy turning turning people's machines against them, it probably should be lockable if PVs are. I don't think PVs shoushould be locked either though, the game isn't called Battlefield: San Andreas, it's called Grand Theft Auto, yet we can kill each other but not steal PVs?

By this logic I can steal your apartment, steal all your cash then steal you guns. Also I can take over your crew then steal your character. Locking Pvs stand, otherwise this game will turn to sh*t.
This game is already sh*t, but why not break into an apartment? Why not drop your gun on death? You already drop money if it isn't banked. Why do you still play it then?

Because I assume that by "the game" you mean "community interaction" and since I have a crew I don't have to deal with random assh*les unless I want to.

It's been said before and I'll say it again, users should be allowed to decide who can operate their Pegasus vehicles, same as PV's.

I was in free roam today and someone had a jet, usually I'd run but he had a bounty. I was near LS International, called my Savage, went to get it only for a guy stalking the airport to shoot me and take it. I respawn, hit him with a Stinger RPG and actually text him "get your own heli".

I called another Savage, guy sniped me, took it again and was killed by jet guy seconds later. So I call a third Savage, guy stalks the airport again but I gun him this time beore he's even out of his car.

At this time I finally got my Savage and actually succeeds in bringing the jet down, though I never did get bounty as the guy ditched his burning plane and Stingered me, but at that point I didn't care, I still got the jet and was happy enough with that.

But stuff like this makes you realize others are right. I spent just about 2 million to own a Savage attack heli, why in the world can just any random person just in and fly it without permission? It's stupid and should be fixed.

Try putting your vehicle access to just uou simple solution

Rather than a lock on Pegasus vehicles, I'd love the ability to call them and say, "Please accept the return of this vehicle."

There is nothing worse than it spawning either a million miles away, or in a place surrounded by a bunch of people (and thereby won't likely spawn anyway).

It could operate like the "Empty Personal Vehicle Button," as well. You could call and ask for that, but only if the vehicle was not in motion.

Accidentally call in any boat and f*cker up the mission.

People pay a lot of money for shark cards to be able to afford these vehicles, why should some broke ass bum be able to just take them?

Your choice to use shark cards. Besides, it's really not hard to avoid getting your Pegasus vehicle stolen.

Go off radar when you're near it, make sure nobody follows you.

I've called my Buzzard in a hundred times while in the middle of a lobby war and have not had it stolen once, because I'm smart enough to make sure nobody is near the drop off before I get close enough to spawn it, and then I go off radar before getting in it.

Really not hard.

It's not just noobs near spawn points that's the problem. I got my hydra jacked while buying a mask on the beach. alot of my crew members are low levels just eager to test the new items so I can't even go to a meet up without some noob jumping in my savage and crashing it into a building. Problem is, we pay to own these vehicles so we should be able to decide who can fly them.

You suck, play in a smaller session, if you don't like multiplayer then play in a solo session if don't want other people near you. Otherwise that is just how the game is played

I had so much fun with the modified save edited pegasus vehicles in story mode when it hit me, R* should allow us to customize our pegasus vehicles online in hangars and helipads. It's extremely retarded that someone can spend literally almost $1 million and get a sh*t truck with a machine gun in the back. I want to be unique and set apart from other players' pegasus vehicles AND BE ABLE TO LOCK MY CAR AS WELL AS EQUIP BULLET PROOF TIRES. Why can't R* add that it?

Solo session is the best option if you want to roam freely in LS.

It's that simple.

If your intention is to kill people with the Savage, then how can you get upset when you get shot down or have your vehicle stolen.

The only thing I want is to know exactly where the vehicles will spawn as they still don't appear to be consistency.

No we don't. Get good and learn how to not let people take your sh*t.

Wish there was no lock on pv's. Then you would say the same exact thing right?

Also pegasus vehicles should be owned and stored. Anyone who disagrees is on good drugs. All theze comments about how you rent the items are bullsh!t logic you have been conditioned to accept.

Why do you think you should spend 100k on a car you can store and lock and people cant steal but you can spend a few 100k-3mil on pegasus yet your idiot brains tell you for some reason beyond comprehension, logic, or rational thought that these items should not be owned, stored, or protected???

Why??

you crashed your hydra into a tree? 1.2 million to mors?

Oh you crashed your heli? 500k mors

oh your tank was on fire but they didnt get the killing blow so it counts as you committed suiside? 350k mors

Yeah we should own them....

-.-

Thats actually a brilliant idea. Only peasants wouldnt like it. And your prices are way over exaggerated, the hydra would only be triple the adder, so 37,500 $ not your insane quote. Perfectly reasonable when you dont throw bullsh!t numbers from left field that have no basis in logic.

I kind of agree and then again I don't.

If I paid $3million for my Hydra I think I should be able to lock it, no doubt. However if through some fault of my own someone manages to take it while I'm not looking, let them use it they'll probably crash it anyway and if they do I only have to pay $200 to replace it, being able to lock your car when it's miles away is absurd even if the game isn't a complete real life simulator.

The whole locking system is BS to be completely honest. You can lock your car so that no one can enter which is good but in my opinion if some guy is stupid enough to let me near his car without locking it beforehand I should be allowed to steal it and drive around in it without him being able to magically lock it when I'm more than 1 mile away from him.

My suggestion is that if someone steals your car when it's unlocked you can't lock it once they're in it but you can call the police and get them an instant 3 star wanted level. I'll never understand why R* adds all this stuff like calling mercenaries, being able to plot airstrikes, setting bounties and calling for an attack chopper only to render them all useless by letting players magically lock their cars from anywhere on the map.

Edit: BTW EvilFiend thats a really good idea, that would make people a lot more careful with their Pegasus vehicles and probably lessen the number of griefers by a significant ammount.

Why not anyway?

Most of you seem so upset about it, well don't lock your jets and cars, let people steal them and enjoy the thrill of chasing them back to get your stuff. I mean this doesn't justify the lack of feature, if you don't like it then don't use it.

I think it's garbage you can even lock your own vehicle. You always get it back anyhow but wouldn't it be fun being able to take anyone's car?

If you're that freaking upset, do what all the other pansies do, go to the ps store and come back and bam Pegasus vehicle gone. However when someone steals my tank or insurgent I don't cry, I embrace the f'n challenge!!

I already leave my vehicle unlocked. People forget about the "empty vehicle" option. I watched some clueless fool re-jack my car 5 times (he get in, drive a block, stop and get kicked out 😆) before finally getting mad and nuking it costing him 9k. I bet he was like, 'wtf I keep steppin out dis car?!'😲 bahahaha! 😂

"Allow me to retort."

Was just sitting here imagining the sheer amount of entertainment we would get as a playerbase from customizing Pegasus vehicles. Imagine:

Urban Camo Cargobob.

Flat Dark Earth Buzzard, with customizable weapon loadout.

All gloss black savage, lightly tinted cockpit, closed rear doors. Red rotor tips. Wicked!

You could apply patterns, stripes et cetera, set primary, secondary and accent colors.

Change the utility and loadout. Give up passenger capacity, or agility, or speed of lift or top speed, to improve the offensive capabilities. Ditch everything and build a faster chopper. Add a mounted side gun to the Frogger.

Bulletproof tires on the Technical? How about turbo, custom wheels and offroad mods?

Custom camo on tanks, Barracks OL's, you name it.

Come on Rockstar! Imagine the prices you could charge! The cash cards that would be sold!

Give this game some friggin longevity already.

Because you can't have more than one Pegasus vehicle out at a time.

I personally think in regards to the Savage and Buzzard, we should have the ability to let the co-pilot control the missiles ONLY if we consent them to.

In terms of locking Pegasus vehicles I kinda agree for this reason...

I was playing Rooftop Rumble with some randoms I called up for a tank and it spawned near the movie theatre I arrived and a lamp post lands on me somehow and a random took the tank. I was pretty mad so I went and rammed my Entity into the tank so the guy who stole my tank lost a lot of money.

I was still mad lol so I joined his session and tanked the heck out of him until he left the server and messaged him "get your own tank". He replied to me with a hate message but I was happy because I literally destroyed that guy.

Just one of my owns ways on getting vengeance on people stealing my pegasus vehicles...
