We need user locks on Pegasus vehicles.

It's been said before and I'll say it again, users should be allowed to decide who can operate their Pegasus vehicles, same as PV's.

 

I was in free roam today and someone had a jet, usually I'd run but he had a bounty. I was near LS International, called my Savage, went to get it only for a guy stalking the airport to shoot me and take it. I respawn, hit him with a Stinger RPG and actually text him "get your own heli".

 

I called another Savage, guy sniped me, took it again and was killed by jet guy seconds later. So I call a third Savage, guy stalks the airport again but I gun him this time beore he's even out of his car.

 

At this time I finally got my Savage and actually succeeds in bringing the jet down, though I never did get bounty as the guy ditched his burning plane and Stingered me, but at that point I didn't care, I still got the jet and was happy enough with that.

 

But stuff like this makes you realize others are right. I spent just about 2 million to own a Savage attack heli, why in the world can just any random person just in and fly it without permission? It's stupid and should be fixed.

wow this should definitely be in the Bitch & Moan thread, because that's all you did in your rant. There is no reason to lock Pegasus vehicle as that's the fun of free-roam, if you hate multiplayer aspects that much you should just play invite-only sessions with yourself or just get the f*ck over it lol.

Do you realise that if they fly far enough away you get a phone call saying that your vehicle has been returned as it wasn't used. Then you can call another?

 

 

...so just drive or fly to the other side of the map and call another one.

I think it should be locked until you get in the first time, if you get out of it or shot out its game to everyone else.

Honestly, I think you should be able to lock it in missions. Nothing like a random rushing to your heli with you. Then if they take it, you can't do a damn thing about it.

 

Best part is, a teammate can throw you out of your own helicopter while your still on the ground. Dafuq? That should never be possible in a team mode...

As a full time pegasus vehicle driver, i think op is maybe probably right... but one of the biggest jollies you can get in this game is from jacking somebody's sh*t. I mean come on! It is GRAND.THEFT.AUTO...

No. Protect your sh*t or have it taken. You could have drove aways away to get your chopper delivered to a safer location.

 

Plus, Pegasus is just a rental service. True its weak that you have to buy and then rent, but it only makes sense. Pegasus doesn't care if their sh*ts destroyed, so no need for a "personal ownership" tag.

I've been letting fellow players use my Hydra and Savage a lot recently, mostly they don't last very long before going up in a big ball of flames, but one did get a distance from me and I got a message saying Pegasus were reclaiming it, the pilot was ejected from the plane.

 

A shame they patched the bug where the thief got to keep the Pegasus vehicle instead of reclaiming it.

Switch sessions or maybe one day they add an option to tell Pegasus to pick up the vehicle

An ability to share them would be good, I usually just let people take my hydra for a spin but dang, it only lets them fly it for a few minutes before they get booted mid-flight

Neither Pegasus or PVs should be able to be locked. Restricting PV access is the worst feature in the game. Only pussies need to restrict their vehicle access.

 

I keep my PV access to 'everyone', besides the fact it's a little more realistic, if anyone manages to steal my PV then good luck to them! On the rare occasion someone does manage to steal my PV, I will find them and I will kill them, again and again and again.
