Adding stuff to a polished last generation game was always going to be problematic for r*. I think gtao has hit its event horizon on last gen and current gen.

I've noticed lagging on PS4. It's frustrating at times but the game is still playable.

 

Same on xbox one.

 

 

Its playable but wtf. People teleport around.. everything lags so bad. It just seems to be getting worse lately. It was not this bad a few weeks ago.

 

I can't even count how many times i've killed players yet they die 2 seconds later when im not shooting. OR i get killed by players well after i've taken cover.

 

Or players who crash.. then you stop to shoot them.. But on their screen they never stopped and are 3 blocks away. Then you kill them while they are stopped but die 3 blocks away. Its f*ckin wack..lol

Sounds really selfish but i'm glad im not the only one this happens to!

 

Everything you said OP has happened to me. One of things i've become good at is getting first time headshots with the marksmen. It has been taking 3 - 4 shots for me to kill people. I havent been missing either i can clearly see their head in the dot of the scope.

 

Same thin with jets, i'm flying behin this person lighting up their back with the cannon and it' like i'm firing water at them, nothing happens except a little smoke.

 

Anyway, i am relieved to find out it's not only me.

 

Have you also been experiencing a lot more disconnects and longer loadin screens when trying to get into online?

Happening more and more shooting the sh*t out of someone who's apparently say 100 metres away only for them to jump right in front of you ending with being stabbed in the face

Extreme lag, frame rate drops and connection problems for me and my crewmates on Xbox One lately.

 

Obviously R* will just say all of our routers are broken as usual.

I'm pretty sure they nerfed the cannons on the lazer and hydra at least on LG anyway probably on CG too but it takes a couple rounds to take down other aircraft down as my crew and i have tested this on public and invite only and it takes a couple seconds more with the cannons. I was gonna make a thread about it a week ago but thought someone already made it or was mentioned in Seawalltx's thread but i guess not

 

Update: just logged on and the cannons seem to be back to their former glory. mowed down an unmanned cargo bob and stunt plane with my hydra then got a lazer and same results. will be back shortly after i pick on people in freeroam into dog fighting with me

I have been in gunfights recently where people by the way they sounded seemed to think they where on god tier vs me...considering it was a 2 v 6? I never thought this game took skill if maybe a tad and common sense to be even or have the upper hand in gunfights..with this much inconsistensy in this game in terms of connection im just going to say its a joke for people to tell me to "sit down" when the whole game is sh*t with frame rate, pop ups, u name it. And yes ive been having kills where the player falls over but it takes seconds to register.

Indeed, a lot of glitches, rendering issues and lag, it's annoying because I've never had this kind of problem, I mean not this bad, not everything together
