Since the "Heists Update" some of us are have a horrible lag.

Four heavy sniper shots to a guy, and then he instantly kill you.

The city doesn't load, PVP is nearly impossible.

Today i had a Lazer VS Lazer fight and i counted 30 mini gun hits and didn't killed him, THIRTY.

At the end he did got in flames, but i didn't killed him.

 

If R* knows that, they should do something. It's horrible.

Having issues on ps4. Headshot after Headshot in deathmatches, either not registering or counting as body hits. Shame, but I'll adjust. Still love this game.

I wasn't able to play Heists all this time due to broken controllers. I recently started playing and here's what happened:

 

I load GTAOnline and wait 12 minutes.

I am placed into a session ALONE.

I get invite to Heists and join.

Network Error

I get kicked out and returned to my own lobby, alone again.

I ask to join another sessions.

Still placed in lobby by myself.

Lester calls and I start a Heist.

We beat first setup and game gets stuck on loading screen after the mission. Nothing happens. I go take a sh*t, grab a bite, browse the internet on my PC, and come back to the same white loading screen. Oh yeah the money I earned wasn't saved. NICE!

I reset my modem and PS4.

I'm finally placed in session with more players.

I get invited to Heists and accept.

Fails to connect and I'm booted from session.

I wait another 12 minutes for it to load but nothing happens.

Rinse, repeat, over and over and over.

 

I went from loving this game to being incredibly frustrated with it. I can't completely finish a heists without getting kicked or having network errors. I was only able to do the first two-person Heists successfully and no luck with any of the others due to getting booted or failure to load. One time I kept trying to join a heist session for a full 30 minutes. That's 30 minutes of watching a loading screen.

 

Oh and that's not all. Twice during this frustrating process am I asked to accept the terms of agreement by Rockstar and the game loads single player with no option of Online until it reaches 70% and THEN the option to load Online is there. And last but not least, the captioning and some preferences (vehicle camera height) are reset back to default out of nowhere. Total random BS that I never experienced before Heists.

There are about 20 bugs that I have encountered but I'm happy to put up with them for now because of all this new content we got.

 

Hopefully they fix everything soon. Nothing is too game breaking for me.

Wifi, but it works perfect. It's just the crappy update, i don't know what they did to the game but it doesn't work well now.

It's gotten better since the update, but then again I haven't been doing much heists cause that's where the majority of the problems are. Doing Deathmatches, missions and all of the regular gameplay things seem pretty normal. I am now only doing a heist when I'm ready to call it a day. The end result usually is me not completing any heist because either I get stuck in the clouds, can't join, get thrown etc or my heist crew members are total idiots who can't manage to do anything without getting killed.

 

Also it's become a pain in the ass to just start playing. Constantly timing out. Loading into invite only seems to work instantly, I'll hang there for about 20 minutes and then load into a regular lobby and that has seemed to work out better.

Yeah, I can't count - and I wouldn't anyway - how many times I've seen exterior elements (and even buildings!!!) pops up at the last second when I'm in the car or in a plane. It has always been somewhat of a (minor) issue, unless extreme conditions, but since the Heist's update, it's a regular thing I would say.

 

Talking of Lazer VS Lazer, I was in one of them last night. I was kind of sweating because I found the other guy to be pretty good and... and... and actually I was fighting against a ghost or something because I randomly saw the message that I killed the guy, but the last time that I actually hit the guy was like 30 seconds before that...

I found Terminator the other day, multiple head shots, he'd fall down and get back in 2 seconds, it was mental!!

Lag has been terrible for me lately (xb1) and constant disconnects. Hard wired, port forwarded, cache cleared every day. Nothing helps.

Ps4 is fine for me, but holy sh*t... my Ps3 Version is awful. Constant loading issues, network errors, failed to download Job and all that sh*t... Both are connected via cable and only one runs at a time.

Ohh wow this is also happening on new gen. I hope they sort this out soon because going around a city that wont load is starting to get very irritating. This means you'll have to release an update soon R* and not in another 3 months.

Heists are so good but I can't play them due to connection issues. I've also had lag terminators. Auto shotgun from about a car length away almost an entire mag - I was actually ragdolling him down the road and he wasn't dying!

Happened to me point blank whole shotgun clip 1 grenade 1 sticky only to find out why..."unknown network error" 2 secs later

I've noticed a spike in lagging whenever I've played recently. I had thought it may be my internet supplier, but reading this it may be a combination of the two.

The black screen after each heist that never loads, can't join a session that I was invited to, pop-ins in free roam(real mood killer for me who likes to do impromptu races), textures not loading at all and let's not forget the bug that plagues every co-op mission and heists that we have to lose the cops.

 

I appreciate that at the least, R* tried to upgrade the game's graphics for last gen, added new animations and the tons of stuff to buy, but damn that came at a high price!

I have had this same problem for months. I shoot players in the head and it does nothing most of the time.
