How do i guaranteeingly kill the merryweather pilot?

Wait for him to land then aim for his head?

if you have sh*t aim you can always 100% kill him with a homing launcher.

Guaranteeingly? 89% chance? What the actual F.

He lands and sits completely stationary. Where is this 11% chance of missing coming from?

Also, nothing in life is certain except death and taxes.... and the Merryweather pilot should've been a hair dresser.

What? All you have to do is shoot him in the head with a pistol.

How could you possibly miss?!

Just make sure he lands completely so you don't accidentally cause him to crash and explode.

I literally use the Musket every time, it's really that easy to do.

Is this even a serious question?

I mean, he just sits there and doesn't move his head at all. Maybe try using a sticky-bomb if you are really THAT crappy at shooting.

Talking of Merryweather pickups, oddly you can't shoot the boat guy in missions but you can in freeroam. In a mission you have to shoot next to him to get him scared so he jumps out.

Yeah dude! I don't call for a boat often but when I have, I've been unable to kill him.. he has friendly fire protection much like teammates

If you can't kill the pilot then your only option is eject the disc, put it in its case, drive to gamestop, and sell the game.

OP - I just gotta ask how did you come up with the number 89%?

Not 90%, not 88%, specifically 89%. Interesting.

The Merriweather Pilot dies 100% of the time for me because I shoot him in the head after he lands. This has never been an issue, ever.

Why the troll replies? of all things.

Because it's a stationary target that literally does not move a hair when you aim any weapon at it?

Well for me he moves away as soon as he sees the gun, shotguns are pretty much resistant, pistols have a soft aim to chopper windows, rifles are too prickly for so target and explosives are self-explanatory.

I'm sure he's jus not letting him land all the way, this only happened to me when I would try to snipe him as he is descending because I was always impatient when i first unlocked it and seems like at certain angles even if u shoot right at him its like trying to shoot through stationary objects like farm equipment.. even tho ur shooting thru and opening.. hit detection is messed up and you cant shoot thru it.. so makes u hit the helicopter and boom hes gone.. so lesson of the day.. wait that extra second for him to land or else that trip from the top of the mmountain is gonna suck! Lol

I think you read it wrong...he said he's 89% of the time. Leaving him at a 11% chance that he can take out the pilot.

I want to see a demonstration of this.
