Does the Savage make Assault Buzzard Obsolete?

When I first started the Heist missions, I was only playing it to unlock the Hydra and Armoured Kuruma, as I wanted a bulletproof fast car and Hydra is something I have wanted from GTA:SA days, but after using the Hydra I was slightly dissappointed as in its flight mode, its has stiffer maneuverability and lower top speed compared to the P-Lazer and while the hover mode is awesome the plane was slightly underwhelming. On the other hand the savage which I just assumed was another Assault Buzzard Re-skin was to my surprise a fantastic heli (and the only Heli, I will be flying from henceforth, aside from the merryweather Heli where I kill that pilot and jack his heli lol). It's fast, it has amazing handling (very smooth), it's actually tough and takes quite a few hits from rockets and it's explosive ammo rounds are insane, and although it does have normal and homing missiles I just use the explosive rounds to f*ck all the NPCs up.

So now, I'm speaking in a scenario where let's assume all player who own an Assault Buzzard have already purchased the Savage too (because clearly the heist unlock and the just under $2mil, price tag will still be an issue). So if we are in a scenario where everyone who owns an assault buzzard has also purchased the Savage, does the Savage make the Assault Buzzard Obsolete as in we can use it but there is no point because the Savage is way better in everyway.

Just like the zentoro that replaced entity (for most not all obviously), or how there is no need to own the karin tech when you got the Insurgent Pickup, does the Savage fully replace any purpose of the Assault Buzzard? I personally don't think I will ever need to use another weaponised heli aside from the Savage, what do you all think????

No. Both are better at certain things.

No, the Buzzard is still better imo, I tried confronting a Buzzard with my Savage, the little sh*t flew behind me, did a 180 and shoot me up with a rocket while I was still f*cking turning the thing.

In missions the Savage wrecks but its a little hard to land due to its size.

Oh I see, I haven't had a heli on Heli battle with a Buzzard, but it makes sense that the Buzzard would be quicker, cool good to know.

No. Firepower wise yes, but armor and manuverability no.

Buzzard is still my top choice in many circumstances. It's faster, more maneuverable, and most importantly, it is smaller.

Buzzard has more diverse applications.

A better analogy (if we are talking land vehicles) would be the Insurgent vs the armored Karuma.

Savage is better suited for an all out assault, while the buzzard is good at hit and runs.

Both have their pros and cons. You just have to use them to their advantages as much possible.

Haven't tried it out yet, but I imagine there are many places a savage would have difficulties landing that a buzzard wouldn't due to its size (Mile High "rooftop" for High Priority Case perhaps?). And there are instances in which you WANT the co-pilot to have rockets, which to my understanding, the savage doesn't allow.

The buzzard easily out maneuvers the Savage every time, easily taking it down with missiles as the Savage pilot tries to gain altitude after dodging.

Alot of the time though I managed to swat down Buzzards with the Savage's cannon. Dodging missiles is the tricky part but its possible.

Since the start of GTAO none of the DLC weapons so far have been as effective as their existing counterparts. It seems that the same is true for the two weaponised vehicles in the heist update that had already existing counterparts (The Hydra and Savage) since the Lazer and buzzard will generally best them in pvp.
