Antontheman
It's not photoshop lel People doing that exploded not even a month ago. Surprised people are still getting tricked or think it's doctored. I know right? Haha
Dock
No, that "beta testing" thing has been there for MONTHS. MONTHS. What it is, we don't rightly know, probably their final build of the game or something. Xerukal and UtopiaRTS

TheMostKnowledgable
The Shetland Pony beta testing branch was recently updated, but it was among the first and oldest packages uploaded to steam. Nah, that's not Photoshop. Everyone can do it. Can you link me your theme, it looks like it might be nice!

Ash_735
I hope the day one patch won't be that huge, downloading 65GB is one thing but then adding on a large patch on top is just kicking people in the teeth. #PrayForCappedUsers Octane, TheMostKnowledgable and Big Danny K

Sleepy Dude
Very old find. It's been discussed many months before. The recent update probably doesn't mean much. It is not an old find. The name "Shetland Pony" has circulated before but thats not the inquiry here. What is, then? actually, they removed the shetland pony packet for about a month. They only recently re-added it. FrostHard
Honestly I don't get day one patches. Why not put them alongside the game at release? Why put them separately with the game itself?
Xerukal
Honestly I don't get day one patches. Why not put them alongside the game at release? Why put them separately with the game itself? Because they're usually made after the game's gone gold and has been shipped. The devs still continue to look for issues after that, so any problems found will be fixed with a day 1 update. Can't include it on the disk/initial download because the game has already been released. Edited March 26, 2015 by Xerukal

But we all know Rockstar likes to delay, so they could just delay the game and continue working on it, instead of making the game gold and shipping it. Gdog
if the game is still in beta then prepare for another delay!! seriously though the game is probably gold status by now. they need to get it put onto discs and sent to steam to upload to their servers. the game is less than 3 weeks away from release. it's probably just r* devs/steam making sure everything is good to go or working on a day 1 patch. psyksjuk
"What are day one patches for" To make it harder to pirate. Its not possible to crack and release an unfinished game. (The game you pre-load is not actually the full game.) So they add some important files with a day one patch. Lexus.V
Lexus.V
@up you are right and this is the main reason for making "one day patch"

Day one patches also happens a lot on current-gen consoles and yet the games can't be pirated on those consoles. Igor Bogdanoff
Making retail copies doesn't take one day it take I dunno 2-3 weeks? So developers have still time to find and fix bugs even the game is already in production. Edited March 26, 2015 by Tomasak

Red Hat
I thought the game had already finished beta testing. Guess they're downgrading the game or adding bugs to annoy PC gamers.
