What are your reasons for kicking a player as host?

I've always wondered why some hosts seem to kick for no good reason. Of course there's the occasional host who was just too slow or lazy to set matchmaking to closed, or just needs to make room. But do you guys kick for any other factors?

Examples: Rank too low/high, poor K/D, character's appearance, gamertag/PSN, the way they talk, previous game behavior, etc.

I think the worst reason I've kicked players for was their appearance, the early GTAO days when the shirtless/pig mask combo was the universal sign for a d-bag. Nowadays I really only kick people to make room for crew mates or if they don't have a mic.

Kicked for making pointless threads. Use the search, there's plenty to read on the matter...the game is 2 years old.

Just be glad it wasn't another Heist or "homing launcher is OP" thread :p

Hmm...I've kicked people before because:

1) They had an annoying voice.

2) They were part of a rival crew/MC (Im back to my original form, lonewolf).

3) They told me to change it to Hard when I was already going to do it.

4) They left me behind when it was clearly apparent that I was attempting to get into their car.

5) They attempted to run me over, repeatedly, in the last mission after doing a friendly DM (me vs. 2 of them) and they got destroyed.

6) They joined prior to my invited friends could join.

The reasons behind why I would let someone stay would outnumber the above the reasons.

I kick low levels in heist finales, people say I should give them a chance but I think if you're good enough you'll get your level up in contact missions and deathmatches before tackling heists

I kick people for accidently destroying objectives with explosives because anyone with a bit of common sense wouldn't fire a rocket launcher directly next to the Titan in 'A Titan of a job'.

Yup they always trying to get money the lazy way and do only finale(like other people) but mess up most of the time.

I do the same, if they were there in the set ups I will see if they are not trash otherwise kicked everyone under lvl 50.

I'm playing solo with closed matchmaking, unless there are no prior agreements with friends.

The are two reasons I may kick somebody: I'm host by accident and some player was trolling before or was making stupid noises.

i dont even play the missions or heists since im already rich i just host them and then kick everyone out for the lulz

So you get your kicks by wasting other people's time? Nice.

Reasons I kick people:

  1. I have to make some exclusive space for a friend or two.
  2. The players is squaker.
  3. The player can't keep his/her mouth shut.
  4. The player has a hyper sensitive microphone, which means you can hear the tiniest breath and wtf ever is happening in the background.
  5. The player has an either offensive or harrasing behaviour.
  6. The player made an unforgivable mistake in the last job, meaning I don't want him/her ruining the next one.
  7. And sometimes I kick a few to reduce the player count in various gamemodes.

When I'm playing with friends and I forget to turn matchmaking off.

People who have their kinect picking up everything going on in their household.

And squeekers who think they have to point out everything that happens onscreen (scrap that, just any sort of squeeking).

1. People who run me over because I didn't get in their car.

2. People who kill me because I have the briefcase and they want it.

3. People who are AFK longer than a mission.

4. Someone who repeatedly destroys the titan or whatever.

5. Anyone with a kinect.

Edit: 6. To make room for my friends.

low levels have no place in heist finales, specially the pacific bank finales...

not because of "skills" but because of their health.

i dont kick people because i always play with more randoms then people i know, though i woud bother to kick players if i know i can get them to leave and they are low ranked people

1) player is a squeaker

2) player has no mic

3) player does stupid sh*t like ram the bus to blow it up after I've stolen it and lost police (Prison Break)

4) playertag or clan name has 420, YOLO, or SWAG in it, or numbers for letters, ain't nobody got time for that.

I kicked a guy the other day cause he had done the Deliver EMP mission before with me and he just kept getting into the Insurgent and driving it inside the base. The other two were shooting the guards unsilenced. FFS.

how can you kick a player who is host??

Pronoun Police have been called.

(Called what?)

Also rockstar likes to kick players and blame others. I got kicked 4 times last night and know it wasn't the other player because he is my friend and crew mate.

Is this him?
