How to beat Pacific Standard Job like a boss.

Now the Pacific Standard Job is an interesting heist. There are many methods for beating it, today I'll be telling you guys my faviourite way, and possibly the easiest. Me and my team beat this heist, with 3:00 left, and only lost under $50,000 in the actual driving portion.

How it works:
So before you do this, you have to get to the part where your team has to get on bikes. When you get on bikes it says to go through the mountains and sh*t into the canyon. Thats a noob move, don do dat. When your team gets on the bikes, drive out of the allyway and make a right (opposite of the direction you got into the ally from). When you make a right, turn left and go straight. There should be a Riot Van. Now most of the police vehicles in this heist are locked, however this van is unlocked. After you get in the riot van with your whole team, go to your map. There should be a blue icon on the map. Thats the dingy, drive to it (DO NOT DRIVE TO THE CANYON!!!). Inside the Riot van, you can pretty much not get shot, and the tires are bulletproof. Once your at the creek with the digny in it, get in the dingy and boom your good to go, now just drive to the checkpoint thing thats in the sea and your done with the mission. EZ AS DAT! (Ik this tutorial is horrible but thats okay.)

Just do this. Heist starts at 12 minutes..

Everyone get Armored Kuruma's and/or Insurgents. It's faster then the Riot Van.

I had to double back cause one dude drove his bike into the lake right before the tunnel, sh*t was crazy/epic lol

I chose the perfect time to sell my kuruma... -_-

I guess the insurgent will work just fine, especially considering how many cops there are on the western highway.

No need to do this a special way. I played it on hard for first time yesterday, following mission as intended. We even activated noose and followed the yellow brick road. Made it with well over 4 minutes to spare and only lost 32k. Tricks schmicks... Just play it well.

You did not play this on hard, following the script and only lose 32k. If you took the bikes, you lose more than that even if ya never get hit. So if you didnt take the bikes, you didnt follow as intended. Man if ya gonna brag at least make the bragging believable.

This is the most linear job I ever played. I shot down a chopper last night without blowing it up somehow and it was locked

Lol!

I have no reason to lie. Also not bragging. Just stating there is no need to try and trick the mission. If you have a solid team of four you should have no worries. I'm sorry your experience wasn't like mine.

Sorry bud but it really is easy if you have a competent team. A nice tip is to have one person take all the money so you kinda only drop half as much.

Sorry to break it to you, but it isn't possible unless using hacks or unless your doing tricks (like the one I told yall bout! Go try it!). Do you have any proof at all that you did this? Do you have people to backup your statement?

Pics or it didn't happen right? Whatever, you don't believe it that's fine. I above better battles to fight than try and prove something to you.

But maybe if I'm feeling ambitious I'll do a screenshot of my bank transactions and let you do the reverse math. Just to shut you up. Or maybe I'll just let you keep on with your inept mindset of "if I can't do it neither can they. " Don't hold your breath on me proving anything to a stranger on an online game forum though.

Your payout in the actual heist doesn't prove that you lost $32k in the heist... Or that you did it on hard. I'm not saying neither can they, but using the bikes to do this is practically impossible. If your really worried about your ego, go ahead and say you did it, I could care less.

I find that hard to believe. Even if you made it to the bikes without taking any damage (which loses money), it's impossible to drive the 4 or 5 miles without getting shot multiple times, especially since you're on a motorcycle.

It's amusing that you think this was about ego or bragging. As all I was saying was that the mission is possible to do with a good take without tricks. You folks have made this into some ego battle.

I have wasted enough of my time on your ignorance, especially since you fail to understand how if I provided you with actual proof of take it would indeed lead you to what the total score was... I will give way to your clearly more knowledgable and skilled selves.

It's easy to make it to the bikes without losing money.... the other 3 clear and you follow when safe. There are less cops around for the first bike so I drive it and have a guy on the back to protect against shots from any chasing mens.

Maybe when you did it crowd control messed up and that's why you don't believe us.. it is a lot harder vs noose etc.

If you're on current gen, then have everyone split into at least two groups and meet at the Police station across the intersection from the Casino. On the roof you'll find a helicopter. Have everyone pile in, or pickup anyone still on bikes, and fly right to the Dinghy. Kill any Police that show up there, and make your escape.

I've done this mission on hard using bikes many times.I find it to be really easy but usually by the time I get around the lost MC trailer park someone dies and we have to restart where the bike pickup is.

I really don't get how people struggle with the escape. Your bike is faster than the cop car, has bulletproof tires (or at least mine haven't been shot off yet) and the cops don't shoot at you from their cars. The only way to mess it up is if you crash and really there is no excuse for that unless you play with your minimap hidden.

When cop cars coming driving straight at you at full speed its not that hard to crash.

EDIT: also its crazy easy to loose a lot of money if your on your bike.

Use chopper guys. I have managed to finish without losing any money ( 1.25m ) twice among 10-15 finishes.

Just let 1 guy to take all money and always cover his back. Also make sure he just takes out police choppers from cover. You will be good. However a bit luck is needed. If the guy with the money plays carefully you will at least get 1.18m

How can one guy carry all the money? I thought two were suppose to carry the cash?

^I think you just let one guy take money from both stacks in the vault. Not sure if it works or not since I haven't tried.

I find the heavy armor (tactical vest) to be a useful tool if you've got a team of four that can work together. Use the suits to plow through the cops quickly while keeping the ones who've grabbed the money light on their feet for obvious reasons. I've done this with a friend and randoms and it worked out surprisingly well. We managed to get to the bikes with a little under $1,150,000. It was the second time playing it for me and it was a blind playthrough for him. It might be a lesser profitable method for some but wow - it was a lot of fun. I'd love to try it again with a full commited group.

'Let me just mention the idea wasn't inspired by the North Hollywood shootout it was just.. general strategizing and my love of the tactical vest.

This is the most linear job I ever played. I shot down a chopper last night without blowing it up somehow and it was locked

Lol!

Nah no way, that award goes to The Fleeca Job. Even the one set-up mission is reminiscent of those annoying errand boy contact missions, if it wasn't for the Kuruma. If anything the Pacific Standard is one of the less linear heist finales available. Some of the set-up missions can be handled with some craft but no more and no less than other set-up missions.

Hail Sithis

Doesn't the van only spawn when you kill hostages?

Have also tried the heli and sea shark methods and they have never spawned for me at all

Ended up wasting so much time with that, now I just use the bikes and stay off-road all the way to the canyon

0 cops all the way plus if all of you guys stay on each others ass, there will be no choppers that come after you either, just gotta watch out for trees and fence posts
