Monitor has no signal

Hey, I put on my desktop which is HP and it loads and when it says starting windows, after that the screen goes black, says that there is no signal (VGA) and the desktop goes into sleep mode and makes like no noise and the monitor is Aoc. It was working before and now is not working and all the wires are in properly.

My computer is windows 7, monitor is Aoc and the box thing is HP and this was all working fine until turned off and I tried a lot like holding power button for 3 seconds and putting all wires in properly.

At first, sounds like you've set a unsupported resolution for that monitor, have you tried going into safe mode?

Thanks for helping but it magically fixed itself, you can lock this now but thanks for your help anyway

I have this problem sometimes, it is suppose to be related to power saving feature.

It is a tweak you have to do in your regedit to get rid of the problems.

I tried to look in my regedit and haven't found the value I needed to get rid of the problem.

So the only thing I do when it happens is unplug my monitor from the wall, and then plug it back.

It happens on my pc roughly once a week, sometimes less.
