Savage seat position weirdness

Anyone else noticing that the Savage can be quite peculiar when it comes to seating? I've had various bits of weirdness, mostly relating to that bloody "Pegasus are reclaiming this vehicle" message when it gets destroyed, but sometimes just, well:

 

 

 

That's my pilot up there..
