Ooh, I forgot to buy the Boxville and Dinghy, cheers for the reminder :D

Not buying that damn Velum though. That Heist should have featured a Miljet.

Haha, no problem!

Yeah, I don't know why R* decided add a 5-seater aircraft when there are only 4 occupants in the heist?

Only Rashkovsky and 3 players get inside it, the other player is the Buzzard pilot who picks them up?!

I just checked, the 4-seater Velum costs $450,000 and the new one costs $990,000

That is some expensive 5th seat

Wasn't the original Velum a 4-seater anyway?

Another one for the R* logic thread. Lol

This is just the beginning for heists I hope. Perhaps the 5 seater will more purposeful in the future.

You are not required to spend the $8M to play the game. Also if you're still disconnecting its not Rockstars fault. I've been playing perfectly fine without any disconnects at all whatsoever, although after a heist I may get stuck on a white or black screen for a little longer than usual.

Also don't buy the things you don't need. Nobody is forcing you to buy a prison bus. Also the armoured Kuruma is much better than just a standard car with 100% armour.

1.) The car is pretty much bulletproof. You can drive into a crowd of NPCs in a gang attack, heist, or just the cops in free roam and they will rarely damage you.

2.) It can ram into a car and just push it out of the way, as if that car was as light as a feather.

3.) The Kuruma looks better than most cars in my opinion. Just don't put an ugly large spoiler on it and it will look great. My colour combo is black on top and red on the bottom, it looks great.

4.) $550k (I think?) isn't that much for how awesome the car is. Driving around in free roam is tons of fun, as I can keep up with super cars with ease. It can take corners very easily with its great handling. Also if you do happen to hit a car you just push it away, as I already mentioned.

Also how can you not afford to spend $8M? You should have received a ton of cash for your first heist playthrough. On top of that there's the criminal mastermind award of $10M, which is a lot easier than people make it think. Then there's the loyalty and all in order bonuses, each being $1M. Cash in GTA Online isn't some obscure thing that is impossible to get. Just put in a tiny bit of effort to earn it, or be 'that guy' and buy a shark card if you really need it.

the Armour kuruma is a steal when you take into account it's half the price of the adder.

I got it without realising after I bought the hydra and I added up all the stuff I bought and I apparently spent 8.35 million.

People can find a conspiracy in anything.

The achievement needs you to spend 8 million. 8 is one less than 9. 9 is a multiple of 3. There are 3 sides to a triangle. Chocolate bars are not triangle, but rectangle. Rectangles have 4 angles. Angles start with the letter "a". Ancient Egypt starts with the letter "a". The Egyptians built the pyramids. A pyramid is seen on Mount Chiliad. Rockstar created GTAV. Mount Chiliad is in GTAV. Rockstar is illuminati confirmed.

if you care at all about achievements you really need to re-access your priorities.

I've already bought both Kurumas and the Insurgent PV. I'm planning on buying the Hydra, Valkyrie and Savage when I have the cash. If you want the achievement without spending 8 mil, buy and sell armoured kurumas, as mentioned in a previous post.

There's no need to buy cash cards in this game, they are only there for the impatient folks who want everything right now. They also fund the development of DLC, like Heists. Without cash cards that would have been paid DLC for sure.

I got the Live a Little achievement, but that's only because I had like $40,000,000 and didn't care to buy everything. :p

I had this achievement pretty quickly. Pretty much one of the only ones I've noticed that I had completed them.

Worried about virtual $...sad.😕

You shoulda just cheated to get more virtual money, like all the other weak individuals. Then you could be flaunting that virtual superiority, stemming from an obvious inferiority complex you're suffering from IRL.

Old thread I know. Couple of questions for those in the know,

1. Does it count across both characters?

2. Do car upgrades on heist cars count towards it?

Thanks, and sorry for bringing up the past:)

I amagine it would be on og, did you use two characters or 1?

Just wondering because if so I can get it with 400,000 more gta big ones but don't want to shell out another 2.5 Mil on stuff I dont need.

:)

Seriously: WHAT WERE THEY thinking? It requires to spend EIGHT MILLIONS on vehicles added with the heist-update. Eight millions? I'm Level 121 and I have just finished the last Heist as a Leader and now I have a total incoming of around 12 million? Is Rockstar expecting us to play the heists with all the disconnects and hours of waiting over and over again in order to get that cash?

I hate it, since I don't want most of the new vehicles. Seriously, whats so special about that armored Kuruma? It's ugly, it's slow and it's too expensive. Yes, it's armored, but every car I own is armored 100%, so what's the sense. Or that Bus for like 500.000? That's stupid and it really sucks that you have to waste millions of dollars in order to get this achievement/trophy. But hey, I guess Rockstar is still interested in selling shark cards, right?

Sucks to be you.

I have a question. If you bought some heist vehicles that were on sale, does it count as their normal price towards this achievement or does it count as the discounted price? Or does it glitch and mess everything up?

I probably should of started a new one but oh well I'll just try it anyway.

It counts as the discounted price pal, otherwise I'd have it already

I got this without even thinking about it, but then again, I was so pumped for the Valkyrie and Savage, and the Hydra actually. Bought them all as soon as possible. The other stuff was quickly snapped up too.

I really miss that feeling actually. Loads of new armed vehicles. They were hyped up for a while, and then to have them all at once ... Those were the days.

I was just about to ask this question when I saw this thread pop up. I really want this achievement but I don't want $8 million of stuff on one character I would rather buy a few things I actually want on both characters.
