Looks like the parties over if this is the case.

 

I saw so many players complaining about losing 250k on R* support and alot of youtubers bragging about it lately.

 

 

Im surprised R* allowed to continue for this long.

Me too. I mean millions of dollars a day with 2 characters? How could they let that slide for a week or two?

Yeah they were going to patch it eventually especially when that fake Criminal Records showed up and people

were loosing money but the whole issue I think has been the fact that if multiple players were doing the same

250k challenge only one of them would receive the payout.

 

Personally I am quite happy it lasted this long, got me back up to 4.5 and 5.7 million on my profiles

and that's after a fully done up Karin Kuruma and armoured counterpart, Lampadati Casco and many

other cars fully modded.

once when i got the time target for a challenge it said i failed, same as many others so as far as I am concerned it needed patching. If they take the 250k thing then that's a shame but I am told the legitimate max was 50k which is fine for 2 mins of criminal records.

You think R* will take the money away or am I misunderstanding? I doubt it as I went on challenges to see what they are like did a 250k one, didn't even know it wasn't kosher, was told that afterwards, I bet the same goes for many others who don't visit here regularly.

Sorry, what money making scheme was this?!

I was slightly late to the party, I started 2 days ago but from what i gather there were glitched or hacked challenges which paid 250k for like 5 laps of criminal records.

 

Challenges if you have not encountered them are a gamble you do to achieve a set objective. Like 5 laps of criminal records in under 2:10, you win you double your money, you lose, bye bye money. Occasionally people would beat the time but still lose their money due to stupid f*ckery, I am told different reasons like someone else completed it at an earlier time while you were doing it, been also told it is a bug. I don't really care whcih doesn't change the fact that it didn't always work as it should, either by a weird design choice or a bug

no he means they get taken down & then a couple of weeks/months later they reappear. then get taken down again.

they near enough crop up after each patch tho, yea?

it's hard to tell/remember clearly. they've certainly stayed around longer this time than they have done the last few times they've come up. usually it's like 2 or 3 days then they're taken down, if even that long.

 

i'm kinda glad when they go. its easy money, but boring as sh*t doing 40laps of CR for an hour. it's good for nostalgia/reminiscing & trying to go sub 1.58. but it does get to be a drag too.

Classic R*. Only fixing things that affect their cash card sales instead of things that should be fixed

 

it would be nice if they hotfixed the matchmaking/quick jobs.. :'(

youtuber's got a hold of the news and it spread like crazy. of the past two weeks I've been doing these yesterday was the easiest day yet, there were a ridiculous amount of genuine races to do and a huge amount of custom/possible troll attempts.

 

Glad I got mine in while I could. up 10+ million. really surprised they lasted that long, I expected them to drop the daily limit before nixing them completely.

Ah thanks for clearing that up, this is the first i encountered em, I think I will choose to not do em, I play to have fun not maximise my digital cash efficiency, only exception is daily objectives because I wanna see what the bonuses are and i have a wee list compulsion

Tbh it serves R* right for messing up their servers so much since the heist update. I mean invites are a total joke right now and make trying to get players together incredibly frustrating. Plus, Skill Matched players = 4 random players beginning with a set letter. Crew Members = 4 random crew members. Press up accidentally on 'invite from friends' and oh no, Rockstar Servers are currently unavailable. :-( Constant frustration on a daily basis, the 'glitches' make it almost bearable. Almost. Plus... why the hell can we not own another property yet? All this money and new heist vehicles and no new property allowance. Stupid move, they should be encouraging people to spend every penny they make, not save it all up for a rainy day when eventually new stuff is added (what carrot on a stick will they use now that heists are done I wonder?)

 

Bottom line, this should be a kick up the backside to Rockstar* to hire decent coders and network administrators to maintain their game and their terrible servers. I have never played an online game so incredibly broken as this one and the attitude of Rockstar* employees towards the game is appalling.

lol i have every thing you can possible buy from any website. on both of my chararcters. 3 apartments each with 10 car garages. got like 60 plus cars all maxed out to how i see fit.

 

just chillin sitting on 6 mill from challenges. soo im gooooood.

Man, I just found out about this. $2million later, was hoping to grind this for a few weeks for a nice $$$ cushion. I can't access Challenges until around 6:00. hopefully this is just a temporary maintenance and doesn't affect the $$$.

 

**EDIT**

 

According to this website, which also talks about Casino DLC, Maintenance was scheduled for 12:30 unitl 2:30 EST for "backend improvements to the network". Fingers crossed, someone please check on this after 2:30 EST as I won't be able until later!

Tunables has been updated today.

I guess they've disabled challenges with the new tunables update.
