Help - Updates not loading

Hey, I haven't played GTA5 in ages so I go to load it up at the weekend and I have 5 updates to load on my PS3 before it will start the game. It takes over 2 hours and my kid wants to play FIFA so I cancel the update on stage 4/5. Later on I go to update the rest and it keeps crashing and not finishing the first of the 2 updates left. It takes at least an hour to get to the 90% complete stage but then just doesn't work. Any ideas?

Try deleting the last one you downloaded and then try again. If that doesn't help delete all the updates and try again.

I've never done that before and not sure how to?

Not sure how it works on PS3, but I'd imagine you go to settings (on your PS3, not ingame), then to your storage device, find the data for GTA V and there delete the 4th update (or all of them). Just like you would delete a file on your computer basically.

Just go to your XMB (PS3's home screen) then head over to the game section, go up to Game Data Utility, look for GTA V, press triangle and delete.

 

Boot up the game, and let the updates install this time.. should work just fine afterwards.
