Heavy Shotgun

I never see anyone using this, am I the only one?

Everyone still spams the f*ck outta that AA-12, But the Saiga has more range and shoots a slug instead of buckshot, and I think it looks way better than the AA-12. At a distance, I still see people hitting me 6 times to kill me with the AA-12, but actually aiming with the Saiga takes 1 or 2 shots because of it's slugs. But, at very close range it lacks what the AA-12 has.

Either way, does anyone else think this gun is a hidden gem? That G36c Special Carbine caught on like wildfire, but this one just hasn't seemed to at all.

Sky_Light12

I think it's due to the fact that people would rather prefer the gun that kills the fastest, instead of more damage per shot. The Heavy Shotgun may deal more damage per shot, but a person could easily kill you while you load the next shot, due to the Heavy Shotgun's considerably lower RPM than the Assault Shotgun.

although , the range is longer than any other shotgun . heavy shotgun still dealt low damage when used on higher range combined smaller spread

What I dislike about this gun is the recoil. With auto aim, you are sure the third shot will miss due to muzzle climb. The auto shottie also has muzzle climb but it's not an issue because the spread compensates.

I agree, the recoil on this shotgun is a pain in the ass. I find myself missing a lot with this shotty. I guess I May have to try to not hold the trigger down when shooting, and have more patience but more than likely I'll soon be ridding myself of this useless weapon cause it does nothing but get me killed.

Mr. Crowley

Just something else they screwed up.

The fire rate should be waaaay faster if it's supposed to be an auto Saiga 12.

...I can shoot my semi auto S12 much faster than this damn thing...and it should have 20 or 30 round drum mags for the extended mags.

I really don't see what's the point of this Shotgun.

Correct me if I missed something, but Auto Shotty is clearly the way to go.

It's not about Auto Shotty is easy or something, but it's practically an all-rounder and I wouldn't pick the less effective when there's a better one.
