The Pacific standard near enough impossible with randoms?

So i dont have friends that play gta online on xbox so im kinda stuck with randoms but this one job seems so hard for others like i have never seen so many people die in a heist.

It is by far the one heist i have pressed the restart button about 30000 times.

Anyone else have this?

There's no way in hell that I'd attempt this heist with randoms! The best advice I can give you is to visit here http://gtaforums.com/forum/298-find-a-lobby-meetups/ and find some forum members to play with. Trust me, some of the best times I've had on GTAO was with forum members that I met playing Field of Screams V2 last year.

Yep, some players don't seem to understand it's not a race to the destination. It's about getting there in one piece. To do that you need to stick together giving cover to the person who falls off.

I replayed the bike escape 11 times yesterday with some randoms (all above lvl 100), guess what...

-Some guy kill himself on the first ramp in the street 2 times in a row.

-People get left behind all the time.

-People don't listen to what lester has to say when ramping off the cliff with parachute, and tumble to their doom.

In short

It can be done even on Hard (with the level of difficulty on Hard being significantly noticeable compared to Normal), however I find the Major Issue (for other Players) is actually getting to the Bikes.

There exists a much quicker route that lets you get to the Bikes and avoid most of the Heat, accept most people seem to like ignoring Lester's own words to run and gun, keep on the move and do not stay and fight the Cops so Ultimately 1 Random gets left behind when doing so and you fail continuously.

This is the jet ski method I was talking about. Notice how they don't spawn when you get there. Drive around then comeback they will spawn. Ftw this isn't my video

I did it second try with 4 randoms yesterday. I just used my armoires kuruma and drove straight to the dinghy.

How did you use your PV if I may ask?

After I got the bikes I just drove it straight to my garage, went inside and got a PV of my choice. It didn't say anything about losing your wanted level or getting the cops out of my sight.

yea, as mentioned, the easiest way is to ensure they're all listening to ya and then one of the known methods;

1. Go to garage and grab armored Karuma (everyone gets in) and take left side of the map highway up to the road just before the bridge.

or

2. The jet-ski method posted above.

Should be fine... if they don't listen? Not gonna end well lol

Damn, definitely using this method next time (my friends are wankers at driving bikes).

Even if you know how to handle a bike you can still get trolled by the cops. I had one cruiser execute a perfect handbrake turn in front of me to completely block the narrow bridge just before the Lost camp - I flipped over his hood and died before I could get back to the bike.

I'm using an offroad approach for this one and tell everybody to follow. Nobody ever does though so its always me ariving at the Dinghy with 4 minutes to go on the timer.

If you find a decent set of randoms who will follow you, you're cool. If you see a bunch of randoms all over the map, then you might as wel just quite the heist and find others.

I remember the first time i completed this heist with randoms.

It really is impossible. I've tried way too many times. Nobody ever listens and wait where the bikes were while I go get my Karuma and come back for them or somebody dies right at the parachute part......

I've yet to complete it anyone under lvl 100 they always seem to think they know what their doing until they hit a tree or ride the bike into a police car.

I've completed it twice with crew members and had little problems.

Just dont invite people under level 70 because they tend to fk up.

Played it 5 times 10/10 a low level always die.

Rank doesn't equal skills

You are WRONG....

Rank = exp.

Rank doesn't equal skillsRank = more health and more survivability

Low rank = burden and always die toward 100% accuracy police.

Plus there is no skill in this game, it's just you know how to play and adapt.

Ppl who think you even need the Kuruma for this job, are just so wrong.

You can avoid all cops and go to the Dinghy with the bike without ANY problem even if you're a boob and with about 4 minutes to spare if you take the correct route, Not the GPS route. No cops in front of you, no cops blocking the road of whatever. Its a shame people never follow me and just go on like a blind man for the GPS route.

Thats all well and good, when you know your teammates won't crash and burn

Play with randoms, come back and edit your post

God I have a hard enough time doing this with the c team in my crew, I'll take the extra time and effort to explain each step to them, telling them exactly what to do and when to do it, then I ask "does everyone understand?" And they all say yes and what happens? People go their own way and die, they try to steal a car and die, they don't listen to me or Lester and don't jump at the end and die.

I swear I can't stand it when I have to run heists with the c team. We finally made it with over one million and all they had to do was sit in the boat and not f*ck uo for ten more seconds and what does one of them do? Fires a flare and hits the money bag dropping us down to 993.000.000 I could have strangled that dumb sh*t.

My point? f*ck doing that heist with randoms if I can barely get it done with the c level crew members.
