Armoured Karuma, Is it worth1/2 mil & should i buy it?

Recommended Posts

I must admit i've not really spent much in the way of cars, but i'm considering getting the Karuma - but not sure whether i can justify spending 1/2 a mil on it. What do you think? Have you bought it and regretted it? If so what should i get as a great all-rounder?

UPDATE

I have now bought it, and certainly don't regret, drives like a beast. just gotta mod the b*tch up now.

Thanks to all of you that posted useful comments, as that helped to make my mind up for me! :pp

if you're good at dodging bombs, it's a very powerful tool.

if not, it's a good way to protect you from bullets.

and in missions you're practically invincible.

AND FFS IT'S KURUMA.

It's practical. You're basically guaranteed mission success as long as you shoot from your car, but it might take longer since you can't throw stickies or nades out of it. As for style, that's up to you. I bought it to use during missions, and it's a nice change of pace from the supers and low riders I usually drive.

I'll put it this way. While I'm not a griefer, I am one of those players that loved driving my fully modded Zentorno. Since I've bought the armored Kurama, I don't think I've touched my Zentorno more than once or twice LOL.

Most definitely. The armored Kuruma is very useful in heists because even the NPC bullets on hard have trouble penetrating it.

I regret buying the street version for my main character, so I replaced it with the armored version.

I did a gang attack the other night and didn't get out of my car, i literally drove around and killed every single one of them with the car either ramming them or running them over :)

It's a really fun vehicle, 4 seat and armored, plus some decent speed, and impressive traction on dirt, it's definately worth it's price. Hope it don't get nerfed though, or at least not too much, because currently it's borderline overpowered.

awesomefoot

Donot even think and buy it. It can pay itself easily in missions and heists...

Agreed. To further that, it makes most of the rescue missions way more fun. Bust Out, Caught Napping and Time to Get Away become a lot cooler when you pull up to save some sorry asses in an armored car. Cleaning the Cat House too I guess ...I just love the feeling of flying Anna away in a Buzzard, though.

An other yes, prob the best vehicle from the last update.

It's excellent for missions and with 3 or 4 up and a decent driver, you can pretty much boss any FR lobby.

Get it before they nerf it, coz it will happen :(

Then sell it back and make up your lost money by playing missions or glitch.

It's worth every single dollar for all the reasons mentioned above by others. There are so many missions that feel completely different (in a good way) if you have a bulletproof car. Just think about every time you had to fight against enemies spawning on all sides rendering most cover at least semi-useless! Or think about how cool it is, for example, to be in the city hall team during the prison break setup when your passenger can just step outside the car for a second to pick up the briefcase, all the time shielded from the assembled police force by your car, before you both speed off and leave the cops to wonder why they even bothered shooting at all!

Just like the Buzzard the Kuruma keeps paying for itself if you have any interest in contact missions or heists. And that is on top of any usefulness it has in freeroam. Also, it sounds beastly and is a lot of fun offroad.
