Does anyone even vote to kick anymore?

Does anyone even use this anymore?

Everyone seemed to do it in GTA IV, it seems no one even does it anymore, even when you get killed over and over again. I think passive mode replaced this because we can just disable PvP now instead of having to vote to kick.

in a 16 player lobby it takes 9 votes to get someone kicked.

unless you mess with a player that happens to have other 8 friends with him in the same lobby, the kickvote its useless.

i get kickvotes everyday, since launch i have been vote kicked out of a session only 3 times.

This is quite mean spirited, but when someone is talking loudly on a mic I like to vote to kick them and listen to them rage as the notification pops up telling them "people are voting for you to be kicked"

"What da hell man? who is kick'n me?"

It's funny to listen to them rage.

Yes, but only in contact missions when the person is AFK. I don't see a point doing it in freeroam because of passive mode. That and players seem to cycle in and out quickly enough as it is. Oh and also, in GTA IV I believe being able to kick someone was through the phone - which is much easier than going through the pause menu.

Also, the reason kick feature was probably used a lot on GTA IV was because in the killfeed it would say "Random Name1 wants to kick Random Name2." On V, you have to actually look in the pause menu to even know if someones being voted on to be kicked. In a way this is better because of all of the kick spamming in the killfeed on IV would sometimes would get kind of annoying. But on the other hand its not, because when someone should be kicked it never happens on the count of no one really looks at the player list in the pause menu to know someone is being kicked, for whatever reason. I would be willing to bet if this feature was displayed in the killfeed, I would've been kicked out many times for killing players in my heli.

I vote to kick when someone is using god mode or he's using his mic to force everyone to hear his sh*tty music. I do it because I have this silly fantasy that when a player will see that someone voted against him he will suddenly experience a moment of enlightenment in which he will realize that he's a douche.

And yes, I know that I can mute the wannabe DJs who play music for everyone in the session. I do it immediately after I vote to kick.
