Yeah heavy armor and bulletproof helmet the whole way plus the armoured car whenever we could aswell.

Not at all in fact I can't recommend that heavy armor highly enough, the armoured car aswell every time you can use it do, we used it going into the o'neils farm and the biker place where you steal the bikes aswell, everyone just stayed in the car decked out in heavy armor firing out of the car, we weren't taking any chances. If you need to go faster with the heavy armor on just keep jumping that speeds ya up.

Just go back out to free mode and load it up again, if you fail a mission at any stage but noone loses a life for example a vehicle you need gets destroyed but noone dies DO NOT restart, restarting resets your progress, we learned that the hard way, if a mission fails everyone hit continue and go back out to free mode and start the mission over.

FYI, Bulletproof helmet does nothing for heists. Only for PVP.

 

You can just use a heavy utility vest only and still get the 50% damage reduction bonus and inability to sprint, while customizing your outfit with basically anything else. Make sure your host sets the outfit choice to "Player Saved Outfits"

To clarify, he means don't restart all the setups from the beginning if you fail a mission. Like say you are in the Humane Labs raid to deliver the EMP, and fail the mission (not dying however), do not go and restart it by going to the Insurgent collecting setup at the quarry. It has to be done all in order.

 

Complete all heists setups and finales, all in order, with the same team without losing any lives

 

 

 

Quick restarting if say for example, your Valkyrie helicopter goes underwater yet none of your team lose no lives/dies which results in a mission failure won't reset the Criminal Mastermind progress.

 

Simply, nobody in your team can die.

So let's say you've done fleeca, prison without dying and you die in one of the humane labs set up for example. Do you have to restart all over from fleeca?

Why do threads like these get the most attention. Ever since Heists was released nobody cares about any other topics other than heists.

Yes you do, challenge is based on doing all the heists in order and noone dying, if someone dies at any point you're done and have to start all over from fleeca. That's why it's so difficult and pays so well at the end.

Thanks a lot for the tips, OP. I wasn't aware that hitting restart would mess up the progress, this is great to know as my crew is only at the Prison Break setups, and we have to time to correct any mistakes if we ever pressed restart.
