Map textures fix

I noticed this hedge across the street from All Saint's General Hospital is missing its alpha channel

I think the source of inspiration for the PC version of this bike was... cow!

Actually this can be easely replaced by Android one that is much higher quality.

I'll search it's counterpart and update today

And for this one I'm not your man, It's model editing and I don't know how to use the tools for fixing it

I have the same issue with the lamps in the house of Sweet and Ryder's. That is probably an issue with dual-pass (if you are using SkyGfx uses the same 2pass from PS2, so is the same thing in both versions), no model edit or something like that is needed. Anyway is not annoying, at least for me.

Thats a good example of the infamous alpha bug and no one of the SilentPatch 2pass rendering settings seems to fix it

I don't use them at the same time :blink: , I set one of them and I test it, then set the other one and test again.

 

But it might be a good idea to desing a triple-pass rendering to finally fix it :alien:

I will have to test that, I think that static bikes doesn't take the texture from where I thinked, I also noticed that after releasing the update

 

FIXED

Ok man I'm an asshole, rename from genint_gym.txd to genintint_gym.txd and it will work

Tried your fix + mobile gym equipment and wheights turn white unless I delete all .dff files, its weird. This fixes work great with things to do in san andreas mod.

 

Also, on mobile static bike is green, but if you use mobile .txd and .dff on pc it turns grey...

When you use mobile gym equipment mod don't use my gym_weights.txd, the texture names and mapping is different

 

But I can try to make a compatible one if you like, It will don't break the normal ones

Dont worry, found the perfect configuration.

 

Default mobile gym + your genint_gym.txd file

Deleted all .dff from mobile gym + your genint_gym.txd file + overwriten gym_weights.txd with your version

For me this last one is the best one since you have improved weights + fixed gym byke.

 

Also, I´m using deafult fist model since ttdisa uses another one instead of the one from hud.txd

I alredy did a version wich works with both normal and mobile DFFs, It will be included in the next update by default

 

EDIT: I also found an alternative version of the PC one, I will use the actual one for bench press and the new one for the dumbbells (really similar to the one found by Tomasak in the mobile gta_int.img)

 

EDIT2: This will be the new gym equipment, no more white areas and completelly compatible with mobile models, and the small weights has got a unique texture with PC model

Thats not for the weights, is for the static bike, it was using the PC texture

OK, now i get it, genintint_gym.txd contains the byke texture, but for some unknow reason it still looks bugged, with gym_bike.dff from mobile looks perfect.

It is bad mapped, I can do nothing about that, I have just implemented a better quality texture

 

EDIT: OK so if there are no more bugs to fix for now I will start with the v3.0 update with new folder structure, some vehicle texture fixes and user and developer versions

I also like to learn modeling and texture mapping but I'm 18 years old, so im studing and I don't have time for that, I have looked at some internet tutorials but shows a lot of things that I don't need and misses some others that I need.

 

If some one could point me at some good short tutorial of exclusively San Andreas model editing, I know basic modeling but with Sketchup which is very user friendly
