High res you say heh, the sources that they used are highly improbable to give you nothing HD

 

Here one original palm used in the mobile version

 

Here the texure used for the waterfalls

 

As you can see, there's no HD textures, they're just bad from the beginning

Txeroki:Thats the alpha bug and can't be fixed modding textures, it's a rendering bug.

Not unless if you use SilentPatch or some other fix. But yeah, even GTA V had similar issues on certain alpha textures.

Yes, this is missed thing: the lightcranes in Doherty:

Probably the dff issue; the textures look smoothy

 

EDIT: There's a problem with the lightcranes after being destroyed: the lights still remain there while the crane lying down on the ground.

I tried to fix that before but it seems its really a .dff related issue, so nothing I can do about it unfortunately :/

 

The lights are a separate model, so that's why when the lightcranes are destroyed they remain there. You can edit the data files and make the object unbreakable as a workaround I guess.

I think Inadequate should add the fix of this to "PS2 converted/fixed DFFs (broken on PC)" pack - if the PS2 release has no this issue.

The dff on PS2 is the same with the missing faces you're showing, nothing to do with transparency.

But for the texture, that's where it's different. On PC you could say it's ventilation pipes but no on PS2 it's a support for spotlight.

Ok so I'm almost ending the latest release, I will make it in a different way so everyone gets everything compatible with their PCs. I will merge this with the vegetation and make 4 packages with or without mip-maps and with higher or lower resolution palms.

 

Is there any other bug or a mod that should be compatible with mine, if so tell me now, cause I want the next release to be the definitive one.

The fences: I never liked the mobile fences a lot (too clean to be fences), but PC ones are just a dirt mess.

One of the palms: The PC and mobile version were the same but with different resolution and color, and in mobile there were two alternative versions, I've tried to make a mix of the three.

I don't know if I understand you, this textures will be in the mod, those two are the ones that I will use in this release, they're finished (I think)

@YOEL_44: how is your project now? I've waited for a long time!

 

The more bugs I fix the more things I find

 

As for now I have changed 317 different textures just in normal world (not LOD, not interior) and I've got a kind of to do list with more textures waiting, as I've already said I want this to be a definitive and scalable version of this mod, sorry but again the await is going to be a little bit longer
