Map textures fix

TWIST_OF_HATE if you want to save space do the followin, unzip mobile fences on a folder, the overwrite files with original vegetation quazlity and finally overwrite files with map textures fis since both 3 packs contain mobile fences and original vegetation quality and you will get the same with less files.

I'm not sure that there will be same pack, but you mean mobile fences ( tell me original name of this pack and author ), then overwrite with original vegetation quality, and then with Map texture fix ? And I'm not using ipl from Aztecas_5 map fixes, only dff, I heard that ipls conflicts with PS2 map by El Dorado.

Hi!

I found some weird textures inside Ryder's house

Look at that blank brown textures on the table and TV.

That damn house is full of weird sh*t. The hole house tells us "Look at me! See? Dont use drags!"

Is just like that with PS2 textures and/or PC textures. Anyway, if I remember correctly this mod doesn't include improved textures for interiors (gta_int.img).

Sadly,The model doesn't have that needed textures in txd archive.

Well, people dont seem to care much about this interior. I think YOEL is the only one who actually could fix this. That is why I posted it here. YOEL, please ?

The interior is weird beacause all the furniture is one whole model :D

So all posters are one model, all things in one room are. It's odd really.

 

I took a look and this doesn't look fixable without editing the rybatharse01.dff

The .DFF itself doesn't look for any textures that are missing in rystuff.txd

 

So modeler is needed for this :/

Thats a mapping bug it should be easily fixable with MED, if it renders at all

 

As for the interiors, I've been taking a look at gta_int.img and cutscene.img and I've found real surprises, it's just a completelly diferent world, in fact I have alredy used a interior texture in this pack, barracks92cammo64 (evidently) into barracks.txd is from the coronel Fuhrberger home interior.

 

When I was restoring the original quality of the vegetation I did think originally of releasing another download with interior and cutscene textures, but it was a lot of work and WTF San Andreas is a crazy OPEN world game so I don't think some little touches in this and that interior deserves as much atencion as the exterior world

I see. Agree, SA a crazy open world game. But those little bugs and missing textures break immersion of exploration in SA.

That bug is probably due to the collision (I think), yeah I know this sounds weird but collision files are used to spawn grass and a few map objects such as bushes, and I think it also spawns these underwater plants as well, anyways I will take a look into this later for SA:Remapped.

Yeah gta_int.img holds many secrets, I recently found some pool mini-game textures in there that look much better than the vanilla ones, but that was after I completely remade them :p

Thanks this txd works fine. Actually txd wasn't corrupted it just had one texture and about 11KB size.

I'm working on a new version with some more fixed gradients I found, I will upload it to dropbox when it's done and post it here.

Okay so here it is:

I remade the gradients again :p, now they look a bit smoother and with a higher res (512x512).

 

I think this is all of them fixed, if I missed anything let me know.

 

EDIT: In the "Source Textures" folder I included only the gradients wich is the only thing I modified, no need to upload the vanilla stuff especially when there's a new TXD editing tool coming.

 

EDIT2: And yes the HD bubbles in Jizzy's club are included (.txd only), the .dff can be downloaded from this thread.

I noticed the signs in Jizzy's club had no alpha, but when I tried to fix it this weird thing happened, depending on the camera angle the transparent areas of the texture disappears.

 

It seems the illuminati enjoy hanging out in this club:

EDIT: Nevermind, FIXED IT!

 

Go to int_SF.ide and change this line:

 

From This

14539, pdomes_logo, pdomes_logo, 100, 0

To This

14539, pdomes_logo, pdomes_logo, 100, 4

The object didn't have the transparency flag.

Ok so I want to post something so you can believe me when I say that I continue working on this project, I'm just slow.
If someone finds any more bugs or an incompatibility with any other popular mod please tell me I will try my best.

 

The fences: I never liked the mobile fences a lot (too clean to be fences), but PC ones are just a dirt mess.

One of the palms: The PC and mobile version were the same but with different resolution and color, and in mobile there were two alternative versions, I've tried to make a mix of the three.

That fence texture looks awesome! I'm happy to see you're still working on this :D

 

Btw feel free to add my Fixed Gradients and that fixed logo texture for Jizzy's Club in your main .rar file when you finish the new version, so there's no need to download it separately.
