Minimum Total Enemies Killed?

Some people say there's too much death in games while others say there's not that much and it shouldn't matter.

I'm actually curious from a statistical comparison so I want to find out what the body count is in games!

For GTA 5 -- is there some way to find out how many enemies you encounter to get to the end of the game? What's encountered in the side quests that requires some blood to be shed?

A stat from the game counter won't work because it probably includes some pedestrians or other city life kills.

I tried looking around the web but couldn't find any place that does body count in games.

Does anyone have any idea?

What do you consider a "necessary" kill? Because there are missions where you have to kill targets to proceed, but you could also let allies kill them, or do it in ways that won't increment game counters (like damaging a car by ramming stuff until it catches fire, then letting it explode on your target). Or where, given enough health and armor and luck, you could possibly run past all of the enemies.

I think it was in one of the old mystery hunt threads... around the time of "Brian" and the "Karma playthrough" nonsense. Someone tallied up how many kills were necessary to complete the story. IIRC, you could actually "complete" the entire story without a single kill simply by failing 3x and skipping missions.

I wonder if the game still freezes when you try to take more than one story character to see the UFO at the same time? Never could get this to work(all 3 atop Chiliad because the game would always freeze.

Couldn't be that simple now that we have PC, could it? anyone tried this?

in terms of a natural play through, only killing during missions, never commiting free roam crime... trying to avoid killing cops (e.g. Franklin would shoot the Ballas but not the cops in the helicopter during The Long Stretch)... and also by usually playing Trevor when possible (so he gets a few more kills than others), my Franklin usually has around 120-130 kills (i've beat the game a few times like this) and Michael about 170

that's basically trying to play realistically, logically, risk averse, and fit a sort of 'canon' approach to what F or M would actually do (e.g. they wouldn't randomly kill a gardener to steal a car; they'd rather just hide from cops than shoot cops, etc) also always playing subtle (so no Bureau raid massacre)

i'm sure you could get under 100 as Franklin if you tried harder I think about 120-140 is the most natural level, and against under 150 maybe under 125 for M but about 150-200 is probably most natural because of missions like Dead Man Walking, Blitz Play, Paleto Heist, The Wrap Up, etc

I'm having a GTA:San Andreas Flashback (9 years ago)...http://gtaforums.com/topic/257512-the-san-andreas-minimal-kill-challenge/

Demarest even created a mod for this--- which would make your screen flash or something if you are "credited" with a kill
