If you want to Change your Character,

NOW IS the TIME!

Okay as many of you know with Update 1.07 some Female Characters had their Faces Changed(Mutilated, Deformed, Ruined, Hermaphrodited, or basically Blended with a Male Character's Face). Also with Update 1.08 some player had yet even more changes made to their Female Characters' Faces, making them even less recognizable. This has to do the addition of Male Clothing to the Female Character. But that is not what this is about, this is about the fact that your(and my) Female Characters' Faces may have been changes, some worse than others. However this is good news for ANYONE that happens to have a Female Character.

This is STILL in affect, and Rockstar is STILL handing out "Unlocks" after update 1.09!

 

Now the reason I say this is Good News is because you can get yourself a Chance to Change your Character, If you want!

 

~Okay all you have to do is simply write Rockstar a "Support Ticket/Request", here is a direct link to a BLANK Ticket: "Support Ticket/Request" . Then within a few hours(in my case, minutes) you should get a reply similar to mine, saying that they have unlocked your account so that you can change your character's appearance a second time, and that the next time you log in to GTA Online, the game will ask you if you'd like to change your character's appearance again.

~So here is what I wrote, and you just want to feel the rest of the info in correctly, and don't worry about them "catching you" if you glitch or something(unless you're a chajillionaire maybe, lol):

 

*Also you will want to select the Bug Report/Glitch/Exploit category for the Ticket to get a fast response or else they will be waiting a long time.*

My Female Character, in Character Slot #1 has had something happen to her face with the latest 2 updates. I don't really know exactly what happened, but when there is a close up of her face for the Heists Missions you can see a 5 o'clock shadow, lol. Also here chin has become VERY pointy. Now I must admit I had missed the "Chin" options on her face, as I didn't know they existed until I was remaking my male character for PS4, but this left her chin very wide, not thin and pointy. So I was hoping there was something, anything we could do to help me get my female character looking normal again.

(Now I know you can't see it there but I swear during mission, team selection screens she has a 5 0'clock shadow.)

Anyways I am just writing this in the hopes that maybe y'all can restore her to her previous state, or even better yet give me the chance to remake her, like I did when I transferred her.(That'd be awesome!)

Now the reason I say this is good for ANYONE with a Female Character(and possibly even Male Characters, I don't know) is because you DO NOT have to have a Mutilated Female Character, in fact your Female Character doesn't have to have really changed at all(mine did!). You just write them a similar Ticket and wait for the response.

Now remember if you want to do the Crew Emblem on Vests Glitch then you MUST place a Crew Emblem on the Rear of a Jacket BEFORE write the ticket. This is BASICALLY the same as the Change Appearance Glitch but without having to glitch or delete a character.

I hope this helps some of y'all, especially the ones that had their faces phucked up like mine. I mean she had a 5 o'clock shadow,

Okay, for those who had already contacted Rockstar and have gotten to edit their Character already, you CAN do it again by sending another ticket to Rockstar, BUT this time you will want to say to the affect of;

 

"That the Creator never got unlocked(or possibly you missed it). So I never had a chance to go into the Creator and if you could please try and unlock it again, I'd greatly appreciate it."

 

That's basically what Troubadour did and got Rockstar to unlock it a 2nd time after they already unlocked and edited his Character once, since I posted this.

 

However be warned: You should make sure that you get everything correct this time, as getting it unlocked for a 3rd time will be pushing it and probably just won't happen.

I believe they just take your word on it, as they responded to my message in like 5 minutes. I don't think you'll need before and after pics at all, lol. I was just really pissed about the 5 o'clock shadow that started appearing at team selection screens or at the heist mission screens. Then it got even worse, but they are acting as if they know this is a common problem and don't mind allowing you to fix it. It was far worse for some player than other, some players ended up with full on male heads, lol.

Will this work even if my character looks like it used to do before? Cause I wanna make it white and I already have a character in Slot #2 and I'm not planning on deleting her since she's level 121.

Worked like a charm and got an answer back within ten minutes.

I didn't even provide pictures... I basically just said the face "changed" with the last patch (which is sorta true) and "wanted to know if there was a way to fix it".

 

The reality is I simply botched the editing the first time around when I transferred my character and didn't spend enough time on it.

Original ps3 version:

 

 

Botched after transfer: (usually looked like a friggin' fish! and much worse with most in-game lighting)

I used the same heritage stuff all three times, but at least now it looks a lot more realistic.

middle pictures don't do "justice" to how weird/bad the rushed one looked but they're the only ones I had saved.

Very early on with last gen it actually did work that way with each update. I guess it was an unintended side effect, because they eventually "fixed" it. What's the harm in someone potentially changing their look maybe once a month at the most?

 

It's purely superficial and affects nothing as far as the game itself goes. Even if we could edit characters at any time, who the hell would be constantly doing it? And what would be the problem with it anyway? It's not like it creates any unfair advantages.

I've been playing since launch and we only got one chance to change our appearance and that was around update 1.06 and when we transferred from PS3/360 to PS4/XB1 other than that people had to glitch to do it.

That's correct.

I sent the request for my second slot character shown above, but also took the opportunity to make my first (and main) character look a lot older. Went from looking like a stoner from the 70's to someone in their mid-50's.

 

I would've made him look like Charles Bronson if I could, but there's only so much you can do with the creator. Although I did make Death Wish II & IV outfits and Tom Atkins' Dr. Challis from Halloween III.

@SeaWallTx it might be worth noting in the OP that you should choose the "Bug report/Glitch/Exploit" category under "Issue Type"

 

 

I chose "Lost Progress (Missing Character, Rank, Item, Currency, or Save Data)" the first time and didn't receive a response, I resubmitted a new ticket under "Bug report/Glitch/Exploit" and got a reply in minutes.

I encountered this problem today doing a Heist with some friends. I don't think I have a shot of how my character went from female to neanderthal, but it also affected all three of my heist members, who were playing male characters who had somewhat effeminate faces.

 

A quick jaunt to Single player post heist seemed to resolve this issue.

 

It really raises the question of if it's that easy to deal with, why bother blocking players at all?

So being honest will get you there but you'll also have to say you basically seen this thread.

 

 

And yes my female characters was changed to a man from this update.

 

Was funny for a few days then ugh, fix it please.

You can only do one at a time so you could change the one then wait a few days and send another message saying something to the affect of "It never gave me the option to edit my toon" and they'll unlock it again and when they unlock it go to Online > Switch Characters and select the 2nd character and it'll give you the prompt

Is this still working? I've heard of many being able to unlock Valentine's Day DLC clothes for females, if they use the "change gender glitch", then change back to a female using it again.

 

Only problem is you have to delete a character and create a new and rank up to level 6, to do the "change gender glitch" in the first place. so I am wondering if by submitting a ticket, changing gender, buying all clothes, creating outfits that unlock the vday items when you change back, and then submitting another ticket to use to change back, if we could unlock Vday clothes without having to delete a character for those of us that do not want to delete?
