Last night i was in a shooting fight and all the sudden bags of money dropped all over the place. I don't know if its a glitch or not.. I grabbed most of the money and got over 3 million dollars. Did this ever happen to anyone here? If so how does this happen?

Personally, I never had this happened to me but I heard stories of other people experiencing this. I think what you should do for the best bet is maybe spend some of it on stuff, just in case R* decides to erase it.

Cheating in GTAOnline is the most pointless thing you could possibly do. The constant struggle for money is what keeps the game so interesting and keeps me personally coming back for more. If I were given millions for nothing.. it would ruin the incentive to even bother. I would just buy everything and then.. that's it... free roam for a little bit and get bored..

In the billionaire days, I was convinced that I enjoyed the grind. I figured that I appreciated what I had more.

 

Then I got gifted $200 million and I jumped up and down with joy.

 

I play free roam, so I skipped to the fun part of the game - enjoying all of my possessions.

 

And guess what? When I got bored sometimes, I could STILL GRIND MISSIONS IF I WANTED TO!

 

If it's so fun, it would be just as fun as when you were poor.

I am kind of like that with the heists, even if I don't get a good payout... I am mainly doing the heists since they are actually quite fun. Even if I didn't need the RP/Cash, I still like doing the missions because for me I am more of a missions guy against NPCs instead of doing the races/deathmatches and like - I normally save the PVP for freeroam.

What are you on about?

 

If anything, having the money frees up your gaming experience, allowing you to fully play the game. Not having to worry about money is the best thing for GTA.

 

Enjoy the money. You will now have a more enjoyable time in San Andreas.

Not for me. I love playing missions, races, heists and survivals. I also loved having all this money as I unlocked everything from heists. I feel bad for my friends that can't afford certain stuff yet and can only buy what's most important to them. If it takes the money aspect to keep you interested in the game, you truly don't enjoy gta online.

Billionaire days was literally to much money..

 

A million , who cares it's one super car upgraded, hadly enough to ruin you 'incentive' or your 'experience'

He's likely to have that money taken away so it might be smart for him to buy three adders with that money so when the money is taken he'll have 2 mil in bonds he can sell to get the money back.

hahahaha as a player that have been a millionaire since early november 2013, i can say that you gotta be the most boring player ever if you think that having insta-millions can ruin the game.

 

free money give you the power to actually enjoy the game.

 

allow you to do missions because they are "fun" not because "it have the best payout".

 

if money ruin your game, than you just dont know how to play the game.

 

i became a millionaire in november 2013 and i still enjoy the game!

He's unlikely to have the money taken away, R* has only done it once in 18 months.

 

and its a pretty poor investment when you put in 3 million and get 2 million back

 

That doesn't even sound like a good insurance policy, grow a pair and put the money in the bank!

I'd report him but meh that is because I got caught for some guy giving me over 400,000,000 and rockstar only took the money and nothing else. I figure I am still being monitored which makes it funny when someone is modded or exploiting around me and is removed from the server suddenly =)

 

Maybe they randomly what players play their char and see if people are modding around them?

Exactly I have had millions since I was a rank 100 something. Im now at 475 and if anything having money has allowed me to enjoy the game more. I would hate to be a poor basterd struggling to buy ammo all the time. That would not be any fun at all.
