Unlocking extra heist stuff - Should I still find a crew?

I have completed all the heists as a leader and unlocked all the vehicles. However, I'm looking to unlock some of the heist-related T-shirts and free chrome tuner rims. Can I do this with randoms since I've done all the heists already? Or am I still better off in a crew?
