Rockstar Support completely useless

So I had this issue where I couldn't host a heist, I phoned up rockstar.

 

As they answered the phone, asked me questions, every answer I gave them, they couldn't understand, I had to spell out every word i said for him.

 

I'm from the UK, not sure if Americans have problems with the UK dialect? Anyways, after spelling out my name, the console i'm on and my gmail, i told him the problem I was having. His answer; 'well you should be able to host a heist without problems' After this I said 'well, what would you recommend I do to at least try to fix this issue?' (spelling out each letter for him again) -after a long pause, yes a very long pause! he said to me, 'no one else has had this problem' at this point, we both went silent, he had nothing else to say.. I ended the call in dismay.

 

Is it something I said wrong?

You should use the ticket function. i always got an helping answer after few days.

My experience with tickets are very bad, have to wait 5 days to get a really stupid useless reply.

 

Try hitting them up on twitter, for me they answer like 30 seconds later it's insane, but their reply is telling you to submit a ticket, oh the irony

You could try deleting the heist update and downloading it again.

About accent, I don't know how you speak. But sometimes it's indeed hard to hear someone from different region. I've been playing with someone from USA since November 2014. Everyday play at least 2 hours and with mic. And guess what? She still can't get what i'm talking until now. Meanwhile, people said I have neutral (flat) accent. Annoying.

No there not, because...

 

Hello, I logged onto GTAO last night to find that some of my weapons are missing.
The weapons that are missing are the following:

-combat MG
-MG
-grenade launcher
-advanced rifle
-pump shotgun
-assault rifle SMG
-AP pistol

I have purchased all there weapons in the past and they all had full ammo. If you could restore them all back to my character I would be most grateful, Thanks (-:

i have done the humane lab raid like 2 times and the game just wont grant me the f*cking insurgent vehicles, so i decide to contact support to see if they can give me the vehicles instead of forcing me to keep wasting time playing the same heist over and over and not unlocking the insurgent.

We apologize for any inconvenience this issue has caused. Please follow the troubleshooting steps listed below:

 

1) Delete your GTAV Game Data (NOT Save Data) from the Game Data utility in the XMB.

 

2) The next time you launch GTAV, the game will repeat the original install process. After re-installing the game, boot the game and hold L1+R1 all the way through the opening screens. The game should prompt you to re-calibrate your brightness, meaning your game settings have successfully been reset. These settings can only be reset by holding down these buttons at launch, and are not affected by deleting any files you can access in your system menus.

 

3) Enter Story mode and enter GTA Online via the character wheel (holding down on the D-pad, then holding down on the right stick). You should now be able to enter GTA Online.

Maybe Nick thought the GTA data was behaving insurgently against you from loading GTA Online.

 

That's why he gave you tips to successfully enter GTA Online instead.

 

Dammit, Nick.

I bumped this because I think I'm having a change of mind about Rockstar's support.

 

The bug that change the appearance of your characters... well, I had it. I sent a ticket to Rockstar about the problem and ten minutes later the screen asking me if I want to change the appearance of my character popped up.

It isn't your accent? I had to contact Vodafone support one day and just could not hear what he was saying. I just explained my problem (some UMTS card not working on the mainland, which came from the UK). So he put me through to secondline support, which I could understand normally. Not all UK people speak english if you ask me.

R* Support ain't that bad.

 

 

When Turbo was broken on PV's i had to remove them from all my racers. Pretty much 25 cars worth of turbos.

 

Once they fixed it, i made a topic on support. I asked for it to be FREE to place back on. I was met with a barrage of insults and snotty nose comments by the posters there. Telling me to suck it up, that it was my faultm that im stupid for removing it.... yadda yadda yadda

 

 

Next thing i know. I notice transaction happen and R* gave me nearly 1.5 million. It payed perfectly for all the turbos i need to put back on.

 

 

So ugh... Ya. R* ain't that bad.

I can't host anything after accepting a random invite, then declining becsuse the asshole has a different aim setting. I had to totally restart the game from dashboard in order for my host function to return. Switch lobby and SP swap did nothing to quell it either...

I blame all the assholes that tried to SE the f*cking beerhats because they wanted a different one. Sites like se7ensins "premium" section are good for bs like this. Support goes down because companies just don't want to believe people no more.
