What's the deal with joining contact missions?

Somebody needs to tell R*, if it ain't broke, don't goddamm fix it. Has anybody been able to join random contact missions since heists? Half the damn time I get a freakin gang attack, and when I do actually get a mission it's by myself. This sucks.

Hundreds of times. Grinding all day instead of buggy heists.

 

Quick Job - Contact missions. Don't know how on earth you are getting to Gang attacks from contact missions.

This will automatically take you on-call. To host you simply Pause - Online - Jobs - Play Job - Rockstar created - Missions. I'm not sure if this is in correct order but you get the picture.

Yeah I know how to join or host missions. Thanks. Just saying this new join random missions thing ain't workin for me. And since when is gang attack a freakin contact mission?

The whole thing is f*cked up now...unless I'm doing something wrong...quick start means being "on call" no matter what...I have no f*cking idea how to host a mission/race etc unless that particular mission/race had no one interested at the time leaving me host by default. When I'm on call then and something else pops up that i want to join instead it usually glitches out because it tries to load both as one doesn't get automatically canceled... Its all messed up.

It's been the opposite for me. Joining a job through the pause menu or phone normally takes me to a pretty full hosting lobby. It's to the point where it's getting annoying...I'm trying to host (to invite friends) and I can't find my own damn lobby to host. Samething happens when selecting from the voting screen, it takes us to join another group of players. Then, sometimes, they kick you out because you invaded them...change your hosting lobby to closed, you bastard

 

I also hate that sometimes it glitches me to a white screen when joining a job from the pause menu. Im able to see the Hud, I can select the pause menu, but it doesn't take me to the host lobby. So I would have to find a new session.
