(Heist DLC idea) The Secret Laboratory Heist

The Secret Heist - Ron Jakowski

Ron and his fellow foil-hat wearing conspiracy theorists have stumbled on some hard evidence that some top secret equipment testing is going on in a secret lab under Mt. Chilliad. He believes a mind-control device is being developed by the Government, and wants it retrieved so it can be reverse-engineered to free people's minds from mental enslavement by the oppressive Government or some other crazy nonsense. Merryweather has been contracted to secure the premises.

 

Setup: Bug the secret radio network - 2 teams

Although Ron has gleaned certain information about the project, he will need to intercept communications in order to learn specific details with which to prepare the Heist.

 

Dish Team/1 Player- Put on Satellite Company Jump Suit. Steal a Large Utility Truck (http://www.igta5.com/images/400x160/utilitytruck1f.jpg) and head to the dish array. Climb the dish and install the override module, standby for command from team 2. When team 2 gives the OK, initialize the override hack. When the hack is completed and Ron radios that they have intercepted communications, leave the area and destroy the truck.

 

Weazel News Team/3 Players- 3 people will need to infiltrate Weazel News HQ in downtown LS and hijack one of their Satellites to relay the signal back to Ron's team. To do this you will need to look as if you belong, so you will dress as maintenance. 1 player will hack the computer system to hijack the Satellite. Another player will go into the basement to sabotage the servers, creating a mess that will take weeks to sort out, giving Ron time to use the Satellite. The third man will be the lookout in the hallway, mopping the floor and alerting the hacker in the control room whenever someone is coming so they can resume cleaning (the hack will pause).

 

Unlocks: Dish Company Baseball Cap, Large Utility Truck (Warstock Cache and Carry, Pegasus Vehicle)

 

Setup: Acquire Bio-metric Security Data - 1 Team

Getting into the facility will require Bio-metric Data to bypass security. Luckily, a funeral is taking place - one of the men working at the lab died of undisclosed reasons, and is being buried at the cemetery in Los Santos. Your team will need to dress in funeral attire and attend the funeral. At any point before the ceremony ends (before the casket is lowered into the ground), your team will need to equip gas masks and unleash tear gas to clear the funeral out. The police will be called quickly, so load the casket into the Romero (a cut scene will trigger showing this) and escape the police.

 

Once the police have been evaded, deliver the Romero to the garage where Ron is waiting. He will make copies of the deceased's finger prints and retinas for the team to use to bypass security.

 

Unlocks: Albany Romero ($75,000, San Andreas Super Autos)

 

Setup: Merryweather - 2 Teams

Even though you have a means of bypassing the Bio-metric security system, it won't take long for someone to realize that a dead guy is accessing Retina and Thumb Print Scanners, so we need a team to run interference. Merryweather is in charge of facility security, so we need to take the place of a couple of their guys.

 

Roster Team/2 Players: Two people will need to infiltrate Merryweather's base of operations and hack the computer to acquire the employee roster. Sneaking in will be easy, getting out won't. The hack will trigger the alarm. Once done, Ron's crew will find two mercs who have shifts schedule for the time of the Heist, and relay the information to Identity Theft Team, while Roster Team escapes.

 

Identity Theft Team/2 Players: While Roster Team infiltrates and hacks the Merryweather Network, Identity Theft Team will be acquiring an Ambulance (you will be wearing paramedic uniforms). If all goes according to plan, they should have the truck by the time Ron's team has processed the Employee Roster. Ron will then designate two addresses - one in Southern Los Santos, the other in Mirror Park. You may go to them in any order. The addresses are homes of they Merryweather Mercs on the schedule. You will need to arrive at each house with the sirens blaring, and enter the home as if you are responding to an emergency. When inside you will need to kill the merc with a silenced gun or melee weapon, then go to his closet to take his Merryweather-issued equipment. A cut scene will trigger showing the team hauling him out on a stretcher and placing him in the back of the ambulance. Same thing with location #2. After the job is done, torch the ambulance in a discreet location (bodies included) and regroup.

 

Unlocks: Paramedic Uniform, Merryweather Merc Outfit, Ambulance (Warstock Cache and Carry, Pegasus Vehicle)

 

 

Setup: Abduct Lead scientist - 2 Teams

The lab team is small, so two new faces showing up will immediately raise red flags. Instead, you'll need an escort. The head scientist of the lab also happens to live in Los Santos, but Merryweather has a team monitoring him at all times.

 

Hobo Team/2 players: Ron's crew has been watching the Scientist for days, and he has a pretty standard routine, so we know where he'll be driving. Hobo Team will need to dress as bums and wait under the freeway overpass at the Hobo Camp. When the scientist's car arrives at the traffic light (hacked by Cargobob Team), you will approach his car as if to wash his windows. A cut scene will play showing him dismissing you, telling you to get a job, etc, and you will pull him from the driver's seat and stuff him in the trunk. Merryweather will respond quickly, so you need to drive away as fast as possible and get to Cargobob Team.

 

Cargobob Team/2 Players: Ron has a Cargobob ready for you (you stole it for him in Base Invaders, remember?), so all you need to do is collect it. 1 player will fly, the other will sit in the back and run the traffic light hack program cooked up by Ron's crew. The traffic light hacker will need to monitor Hobo Team's position and ensure that the Scientist does not arrive at the traffic light before they're ready, and that when he does arrive, the light is RED so he stops.

 

After Hobo Team kidnaps the scientist, Cargobob team will swoop down and pick them up with the giant magnet attached to the hook. This will be a high-speed pick up (otherwise Merryweather's Mesas will interfere), so a long, open stretch of road is required. Buzzards will be dispatched, but Hobo Team can shoot from the car and use explosives, while the Cargobob passenger (sitting in the back) can also shoot with an MG. Once you've evaded Merryweather, drop the car off at Ron's discreet location and return the Cargobob to the helipad.

 

Unlocks: Cargobob w/Magnet (Warstock Cache and Carry)

 

HEIST - 2 Teams

Scientist Team/2 Players

-Collect Head Scientist and car from Ron and drive to the lab entrance at the base of Mt. Chilliad.

-Enter the facility. The Scientist will get you past Security for a while but eventually you'll need to leave him behind and that's when you'll use the fake finger print and retina that Ron gave you.

-The Scientist will act awkwardly at times, introducing you as special technicians, but don't allow him to spend too much time chatting with his coworkers, he may tip them off (Suspicion meter). Press Left on D-Pad to discreetly "nudge" him.

-Once you've reach the inner Maximum Security wing, you'll need to neutralize the scientist and hide his body (kill or knock out, your choice), and then proceed without him.

-You'll have 4 more security check points to get through, your phony bio-metrics should do the trick. Each set of doors is guarded by a merc, so play it cool and you'll make it through.

-When you've finally reached the main lab, everyone inside must be neutralized quickly before an alarm is raised.

-A cut scene will trigger showing your guys loading 4 crates onto a cart. 1 player will push the cart while the other will trigger the doors and silently take out the mercs guarding them (using a silenced pistol provided for the job).

-When you've met up with the Merryweather Team, a cut scene will play showing the 4 of you putting on... JET PACKS! But you've been spotted and the alarm has been tripped.

-After the cut scene, you have to get back outside before you can use the jet packs. You can't sprint because of the weight, so you'll have to methodically kill any mercs who come at you using the guns the Merryweather Team brought to you.

-Once outside, you can enable the jet pack by pressing Left on the d-pad, and from there the controls are much like a helicopter.

-Escape the area, dump the packs in the hidden truck, go home and celebrate.

 

Merryweather Team/2 Players

-Drive to the lab and go inside to the main security booth. You will relieve the mercs stationed their of their shift and take over.

-1 player will monitor the cameras (Five Nights at Freddy's style) while the other begins hacking into the system. Whenever a scientist or another merc enters the room, the hacker must pause and act casual.

-Scientist Team will arrive at some point and walk right past you. Continue the hack.

-Once the hack is completed, you'll need to erase the Security Access Data used by Team Scientist every time they use the dead man's bio-metrics so the network operators don't notice. You will have 5 seconds to catch and erase each Security Access Log before it's noticed by the security network monitor.

-Once Team Scientist is in the main lab, you need to leave the Security Post and sabotage the natural gas pipeline with a remote bomb. After this, make your way to Team Scientist.

-After the cut scene, you will need to escape before you can use the jet pack. Your Merryweather uniforms come with some hefty armor so you'll want to be up front to protect the unarmored Team Scientist. Fight your way out of the building and take off.

-Detonate the Remote Bomb by calling the special phone number with your cell. The entire facility will burn like a super heated oven, destroying all computer servers and anything that could be used to build more jet packs.

-Escape the Merryweather choppers and dump the packs in the truck.

-Celebrate

 

Unlocks: Jet Pack (Call Ron to borrow, $10,000 per use, must be returned intact when done otherwise you won't be able to use it again for a while as he has to build a new one)

 

Reward: Ron has sold the Jet Pack Schematics to foreign buyers. Total potential cut: $2,000,000. Because all Ron wanted was the Jet Packs, you can split that million however you wish.
