I feel like I will never be able to finish all heists as a leader

Seriously, its not cause there are sh*tty players. It cause there are NO PLAYERS at all. I've been inviting people for hours, on gtaforums, inviting friends. No one joins. Seriously 1 f*cking year and they still cant fix matchmaking.

By the time the number of people playing heists lowers, people are not gonna want to play setups or any other invite you send them.

True. When I want to set up a heist with a friend we spend more time waiting in a lobby than actually playing.

And when it eventually fills up you get the most incompetent people ever who have no clue whatsoever of what they're supposed to do.

Use some websites. Post a thread on these forums, post on reddit, type GTA LFG in google and you will find at least 5 websites designed specifically to find GTA players. And when you are looking for people on these sites, you're almost guaranteed to find people who will talk, or at the very least, are very into the game.

There are players, it's just that pretty much everyone knows not to join random Heists because they never work out. People quit or just join to create a headache for everyone else (who waited A LONG TIME in the lobby). It's also very annoying when you see the same person send invites every minute or two. I got my controllers back and started playing this morning (haven't played since the first two days of Heists) and the same dude invited me to heists the ENTIRE time I was playing (an hour). It was so annoying that I didn't want to bother at all.

Amen.

I've been « leading » the first heist for a week now and I'm still stuck on the third part (where you need to get a car from the cargo and steal a police car) since 3-4 days. Just tonight, it took 50minutes to finally reach 3 extras players. Of course, they are all low-level (super low-level) and they usually end up being killed super quickly. I anticipated that and that's what I got. Just like I anticipated that one of them would quit super quickly. That's what happened.

On my first heist, where you need to steal a small bank, Lester specifically says not to do anything that would compromise our ride to the bank. Of course, the guy with me would fire ammos.

That's what happen every f*cking time. If I'm not leading, that's what also happens. I join an heist, wait, wait, wait for extra players to join and when we finally start the heist, somebody quit, many times the f*cking leader.

So, yeah, I don't think I'm gonna see the end of those heist myself. It's actually levelling up my blood pressure to the max!!!! Nah man, I'll just fly a Lazer and kill everybody in the lobby. What else is there to do anyway ?

PS. Nah, killing everybody in the lobby is impossible anyway. I always end up with modders ejecting me from the jet so..... I guess playing golf is what I should do... Good luck to myself though for having people joining me.

Yo. i feel ya. but went on lobby and meetups and added anyone and everyone that posted a gtag. plus friends that already existed, now we all hook up all times of day with various members and add each other.

Eventually your list will grow. if a random is good sent a friend request......

Totally agree. Ive started working again so I cant go on much. But like I told everyone Im on Friday night (right now) and everyone whos usually on isn't on including my crew which is really pissing me off and forget randoms OMG you will have to wait years and when you fill up they f in quit.!!!

I feel you op, if anyone's getting 1 hour of actual gameplay for every 3 hours that they're on gtao trying to play heists then they're doing well.

Good friends are the only solution, when relying on randoms I'm spending more time waiting on players joining than I am playing heists and even when I am playing most of it is restarting due to 1 of the 4 players not learning from their mistakes repeatedly, there's always 1.

After they fail for the same reason about 5 times and the other 3 of us have put up with their incompetence and continually restart in the hope that they will finally get it right, they leave and it's back to the invite screen and more waiting.......................

It took me a week just to finish the fleeca job as host, I think everyone now is all about grinding the heist finales and not interested in set ups at all. Even joining a setup lobby from someone else takes forever to fill up if it ever does.

Just joined the Finale for Series A Funding.

The team on the technical drove off without the trucks and we had to fight off Choppers, Ballas and Lost with our pistols.

Thank f*ck it was on normal. But yeah, randoms f*cking suck.

Look through this 'Heist Free Agent' thread, especially the last few pages (since they're the most recent), and start sending PM's:

I posted there and have added about twenty people to my friends list.

I have given up hope also...

On the plus side, I have completed all Heist Finales by Joining varying Heist Leaders (probably only done 15% of Set-Up Missions) and as I have completed all of the finales I can at least Host any Heist in the Future...Main grievance is I can not get the Savage as I have only ever seen one Invite to the Set-Up Mission and the Session was Full.

Oh, matchmaking works and my damn feed is evident of it. Sometimes I can't see the killin feed because there's a shot load of invites taking up the left side of my screen. There should be a counter on how many times people ignore invites from random people.

I now hate that it's hard to host a job when I start up a job from the pause menu. Not to mention when the game sends you to a white screen, not loading the host lobby. Fix that GTA

The only thing I've had issues with is the Pacific Bank. Impossible to find a team that DOESN'T die at the parachute part making me do the damn thing all over again.

Seriously needs a checkpoint right there for that

I had some issues with that heist as well, but the main issue was people kept dying on the bikes. I think by time we finished it we only made like 500k off that heist, but for me I didn't worry that much since I just wanted it done for the All In Order challenge.

I think the problem with Heists is that everyone wants to be the leader, so there's not much left in the pool of players. Not to mention the crappy servers. Also, with all the horror stories I've read on here about greedy leaders, nobody wants to join any random setup/heist to only get screwed over. I've played all way through Humane Labs Raid, yet I'm still stuck on the first Prison Break setup as being host.

It is weird that you can fill a DM, or Race with about 6-8 ppl fairly easy, yet a 4 Player Heist mission that everyone's been waiting so long for takes forever. Really at this point, your best bet is to have a close group of friends/crew that you play with quite often, or try to find new ones, and then coordinate some common times you're all on to play said heists. I do think that for the setup missions at least, if somebody leaves via bad connection, or being a prick, the mission should still continue. At least you won't get booted back to free-roam, and back to square one getting the lobby to fill up.

What about joining a crew and for once stay with that crew..

People will get to know you and use a headset/mic..

When you get to play a heist eventually.. Give these people at least a fair Cut 25% > 30% for motivation and to get this guys want to play more with you because you are a good guy..

Good luck
