Online heists better than SP heists?

Recommended Posts

If they fixed the matchmaking then yes it's better than SP heists.

Well the stark difference between the SP heists and the MP heists is that the SP heists didn't randomly crash my system, spawn 50x of a random object causing the framerate to dip to 5fps, have terrible matchmaking, randomly give connection errors making finishing a mission a royal bitch, or have uber-tier insta-gib godmode accuracy A.I. sh*tting down my throat, so I'd say SP heists win by a long mile, even if they were easy.

Pretty much this.

I've only played them with friends and usually launched them from a closed session, so I've not really had any issues with spending ages in 'the clouds' or dealing with matchmaking and randoms.

I'd say they were better than the SP heists, just because of the coordination and teamwork that is required. I find that more fun and satisfying that playing missions on my own.

Online >>>>>>>> SP

Online heists >>>>>>>>> SP heists (4's Heat tribute was more memorable than any of 5's imo).

I think there's a discussion to be had on the point CH makes - on how heavily scripted they are. Buts that's for a different time. For a first try they've done good but, as is the case w/gtao across the board, the actual potential is still largely untapped (by reckoning of them being so tightly scripted - the idea of us designing our own heists is where R* should be building toward.)

Online heists win by a country mile, solely because of the human factor.

I find the final parts of the heists (prison break and humane labs at least) are proper nerve wracking and you only get that because you have no idea if your crew of random strangers are gonna make it on the plane/is the valkryne gonna survive the final onslaught of 6 enemy choppers

Online heists have more vehicles and environments in them, but players have no choice on how to execute heists like SP.

At the end of the day you are a grunt working for someone else, and heists fail because you screwed up agent 14's "carefully planned" heist.

I enjoy playing SP heists and I like the stuffs that comes with the update, like cars, aircraft carrier etc.
