Window Tints: Limo vs Pure Black

I'm sure many of you have noticed that prior to the last update, limo tint was darker than pure black. Now, pure black is actually pure black and darker than the limo tint.

 

I'm so pissed off about this because I put ignition bombs in all my race cars, since I had no need to further mod them. Now, I want the darker tint, but can't have it because vehicles with the ignition bomb cannot be further modified.

The replacements you get from mors mutual don't have the bombs anymore.

 

Change the window tint, then put the bombs back if you want.

what do you need them for?

why exactly have you even installed them into your race cars??

i don't get what this would be useful for, especially with race cars.

do you exspect that somebody would steal your car during a race?

and if so, why don't you wanna have him pay for your destroyed car then but pay yourself for it??

I didn't think ignition bombs were permanent.

Blow the cars up.

The replacements you get from mors mutual don't have the bombs anymore.

 

Change the window tint, then put the bombs back if you want.

I like to complete games as much as possible. There's a reward for using ignition bombs. I've noticed a lot of people trying to take my cars when I am in freemode, so I figured it would be easy to earn this one.

It stays on the car you put it on until it is destroyed.

You can keep it in your garage indefinitely.

When that car is destroyed finally the replacement from insurance doesn't have the bomb anymore.

Again, thanks to Mr. Crowley for the solution: destroy the vehicle and the replacement from insurance will not be fitted with the ignition bomb and the car can be modded.

 

Leaving the session doesn't remove the bomb.

 

To Mr. Nedich: I have found that one car (a rare vehicle that people will try to take... I think) that I use for ignition bombs (see profile pic). I will return all my race cars back to their a state which can be modded.

I'm very happy Pure Black is finally pure black again. I knew R* would fix it some day, that's why I never wasted my money putting Limo Tint on all cars, I just kept Pure Black.

 

Took 3 or so updates but they fixed it.

Yes. You're right and I realize this now in retrospect. I figured it would be fine if I had no need to further mod a car. I learned my lesson. I'm just happy it's not permanent and I'm sticking to just one moving forward in case other car mods are added in future updates.
