Paul723 Posted March 19, 2015 Share Posted March 19, 2015 (edited) Besides the fact that he acts like a complete idiot in this game, I remember in the first cutscene introducing Vic when the protagonist said that Lance was "sick in a different way", implying that he may have a mental illness. Also in Vice City, Lance seems to have trust issues and betrayed Tommy for some obscure reason. I know I'm looking a bit too deep in this, but after replaying both VC and VCS and analyzing Lance's behavior, I feel that he has some sort of mental disorder. Or is it just his cocaine addiction? The cutscene in which Vic said that he was sick in a different way really had me thinking Lance had a possible mental illness. Once I focused on his behavior in VC, the phone calls in which he expressed his paranoia in had me believe as well that he had some possible disorder. Â VC really makes him a sad character though. His brother gets killed in the ambush so he has to fend for his own. He tries to play it straight and work his plan through with Tommy to find what they both are after. Once again he reacts that way typical Lance would react and blows their cover which results in Tommy thinking he's just another Vice City idiot much like Vic always did. And turns on Tommy only because he thought there was no way in hell that Tommy would fool Sonny and tries to take that opportunity to rise. Meanwhile you're in a sh*tty Vortex which is hard to control and reminds me of the RC Trucks in the RC Missions in LCS. Why are they hard? Due to sh*tty physics and top heavy RC Vehicles. The Vortex in SA and VCS are no exception and have strange controls, which makes the mission hard. All cuz Lance Vance the dipsh*t is a mental case... Â The Vortex/Bovver 64' is just as bad, lol...It turns way too easily...During White Lies, a handful of times I failed the mission, which is piss easy, imo, but because of the damn Vortex controls, it would sometimes tip upside down and Vic would get stuck and since he is under the water his health would continue to go down until death...Very annoying missions from Lance... Â Light My Pyre is stupid too. Lance, the dipsh*t, always driving in front of your line of fire into the attacking Sentinel XS's. Thus, you kill him. Mission failed. It's the coke that made him act wild in VCS. When he stopped using it in VC, he was seen much calmer. Seriously though, he's a retard with or without the cocaine, and as a result, his stupidity cost him his life.
