charles + ifruit sovereign paint patched?

For those who know what im talking about, I've been doing this for a while. A few months ago the code for colors changed (its like 0 72 0 8 0 now). I managed to still get it to work with the new code before the heist update. But now it doesn't work, colors wont change. Is it patched?

Could be, I was using it to paint my lost slamvan yesterday. So they may have made it so there no way you can paint it.

Well I most certainly do not! I don't have the option to rebuy any of the timed Independence Day stuff. (Not counting fireworks of course.)

Think Rockstar support would be able to fix this or am I just boned until maybe next year?

I used it to paint my Slamvan the other day, so hopefully it isn't. With that said I haven't used Charles Proxy in months; Fiddler is far superior.

 

If you haven't already I suggest looking into it, it makes the process so much simpler.

Well I've asked several people as to what the deal is with this, and they seem to think that everything is working as intended. Like I said, use Fiddler and see if you have any luck. It's highly unlikely they would patch the ability to paint one vehicle, if they were going to patch it at all it would be the ability to do all vehicles.

I've done over 100 orders for myself and other people since heists. it's working. although i guess technically non of them have been sovereigns. but i don't know why it wouldn't work.

Guys, like I said. Slamvans and all other vehicle work fine. I painted a slamvan myself today. But sovereigns... nope... doenst work anymore.

Silverfox try a standart sovereign and try to make it black for instance. Doesnt work anymore.

After playing around with difference order types for the sovereigns and every order i sent though iFruit it only equped the items i selected with the iFruit which i usually just select a new plate backround so it's not adding anything i put in the text files so i do think the sovereigns can no longer be painted.

Try changing horn instead of plate?

That sucks.I hope my Sovereign won´t be lost when transfering to PS4 then.They really should have made it possible to respray it at LSC and put livery only if we want to.Same with wheels on Innovation,we should be able to change them.

Yup tried tire smoke, horn everything wouldn't change the color and my sovereign somehow got chromed so i just sold it as i wasn't driving anyways

Yeah,I´ve seen Innovations with different wheels,but those were modded.We should be able to respray Sovereign and change the wheels on Innovation the legit way in LSC.

I think stiletto wheels would look badass on Innovation.

As for Sovereign,I have one in classic black and one stock in case I can´t transfer the resprayed one.Here they are:

How tho? The code is diffrend because it doesnt work anymore. I used to do it all the time but it just doesnt work anymore. What did you do diffrend?

I tried this weekend on a newly bought sovereign. didn't work. SO my theory is that you can only paint sovereigns that were purchased before the heist updates. any that are already painted should be paintable still. If anyone wants to test this theory please PM me, but it will not work on newly purchased sovereigns.

Doesn't seem to work on newly duplicated ones either as I've been trying with one I got from someone who originally brought it when they first came out.

maybe someone can try sending an order for a car or some other 'paintable' vehicle, then change the vehicle ID and hash and see if that works. otherwise not much you could do

Didn't work for me and i had mine since i bought it back in July i had already painted it, But after this thread was made i tried to repaint it to see if it would still work and nothing worked.

Seeing as it's impossible for me to modify my sovereign to be truly black, I was wondering if one of you kind people might spare me a few minutes of your time, so I can dupe yours. I'm looking for either classic or metallic black. I'm on XB1, my GT is KaiserNA and if you feel like helping, I'd be really grateful!

 

Unfortunately the dupe thread hasn't been much help for me in this search
