I have an Akuma and a Batti, how's the sh*tzu Hakuchou?

Recommended Posts

I have 7 bikes none of then i use for races. I have 2 bati 801's, hakuchou, ruffian, pcj 600, sanches, deamon. All but the deamon i use for stunting. What fox2quick said i disagree with. When you get use the the hakuchou that thing is a beast. At first i hated it i actually sold mine then some time later i bought it again because i seen stunts on youtube that only that bike could do. So i havnt looked back since buying it. It has become my most used bike defo woth a shot.

In my experience, I've had a harder time hitting launches and getting the same kind of air as a Bati. That's just me though. I may be conditioned to the Bati.

Last night I tried stunting with a Lectro and it worked surprisingly well. Especially if you use the KERS right when you need to pull up at a launch point.

Akuma has still a better acceleration for bike parkour races.

I keep them all three, Bati for looks, Akuma for technical races and Hakuchou is the motorbike Zentorno.

Lectro is overrated and overpriced.

They all have their own strengths and weaknesses, making none of them "the best". The Hakuchou has awesome acceleration, does very high wheelies (which makes it a *very* popular stunt bike), but it can't turn for sh*t. Seriously, the turning curve of the Hakuchou is probably bigger than that of the QE2.

Spend a couple of hours on one in single player if you're unsure, but overall I'd say it's worth the purchase.

Protip for those who don't know: you can make tight turns on limited space by stopping and burning out, braking and revving at the same time, while using steering to turn.

Best applied in trap climbing races.

I didn't noticed the bigger turning radius of Hakuchou, so thanks for mentioning, Furry.

I love it, but my previous bike IRL was very similar and handled similarly so I'm biased!

IRL bikes handle nothing like bikes in this game. Did you own the real tron bike IRL or something? Because if you have ever even sit on a real motorbike, you would know that GTA V's bikes are granted one of the worst motorbike physics ever in a video game.

very true... it only suits certain jump types and has a bigger failure rate than bati and ruffian in my experience

this all over... having tried it alot it is a great bike... "best" simply doesnt exist in bikes, each different use has a different bike that excels

And i can vouch for the fact furry spends more time on bikes than most people so speaks a voice of reason and expeirence

ive got one tho, its worth the buy if you like bikes and/or stunting

Thats the way i was first time round thats the reason i sold mine but after a while on it i got use to it i suppose. My go to bike from the start has been the bati801 but when i got the hakuchou back i guess i was more experianced with bikes but something just change and i was hitting all sorts of stunts i couldnt do before.

Edit: I agree with mo, this is by far not the best bike but it has a lot going for it. Also it depends on what you use if for if its racing i have no idea but for stunts its a real good buy and would go well with your bati.

The haha coochie chou is great for wheelies. But I'm a high baller and replaced it for a Lectro

wow....just wow....

not that i have something against it, as long as you enjoy it but pfff....all that money for that bike....

Don't ditch the Bati for it. They are totally different bikes, for different purposes.

If anything, decide out of the Akuma or Bati which one you want to keep, as they are quite similar around a track. The Hakuchou is for long straight tracks with few turns, it's a completely different beast.

Personally, I have all three & a Sanchez. They all excel in different areas & all are useful depending on the track.

Intoxica7ed

Do you think it could replace the batti? I really like the handling on akuma, batti is really hard to break / turn, but it's a rocket. I'm more tempted to swtich the batti for it

If you think the Bati 801 doesn't turn wait 'til you're riding that beast of a Hakuchou. It's straight line wheelie speed and acceleration are just stupid fast, though.

I've been riding motorbikes for three decades. Compared to the car physics I think the bike physics are more realistic. No motorbike game actually gets close.

Riding hard on wet streets in first person shows some of the adrenaline of riding bikes though.

P.s. Thanks for trying to score points, I hope it made you feel better.

I have all three and the akuma has the best accerelation whereas the hakachou is the fastest in a straight line and can hold a wheelie longer then the bati but can't corner well due to its size. The bati is a bit slower then the sh*tzu but handles better and has a higher top speed then the akuma and can wheelie which the akuma can't do. I would go with the Bati or Akuma for racing depending on what matters more to you.

An owner of a 10 bike garage

The Hakuchou is incredibly fast in a straight line if you know how to wheelie (which is easy enough on this bike). Cornering is not so great, but good enough to be competitive overall. Stunting is easier on the Ruffian, but due to the speed and acceleration of the Hakuchou you take off like a jet if you hit a jump. Plus, it looks like a beast if you choose a dark primary and light secondary colour.

If you would like it better than a Bati or an Akuma depends a lot on personal taste, but I sure love mine.

Geisterfaust

A lot was said about the bikes here and everything is true. If you love the bikes, you should get all of them: now with 3 garages it's not a problem. If you don't, it's the matter of preference. I can say one thing about Hakuchou: it will require a hell of a pilot to beat Akuma with this in the city. But it will be a lot of fun, if you'll try to do that by yourself.

After extensive testing, I found something very interesting:

a stock Hakuchou is faster on long straightaways than a stock Bati

BUT

a fully modded Bati is faster than a fully modded Hakuchou.

I did multiple tests for each bike on Route 68 which is a course where you can wheelie the entire race. The fully modded Bati came out on top every time. The Bati's also far more maneuverable with a significantly tighter turning radius, so it's naturally better for races with more turns. While I liked the looks, I ended up selling my Hakuchou off and sticking with my Bati and Akuma which have different strengths.
