Disguise it how you want. Pretend you're "making fun" of them. Make wild assumptions and take user's posts in this thread way out of context. It's just making you look more stupid and pathetic.

Suicide is the bitch route. That why people use it.

 

Besides...Free roam combat is not about competition. Its survive or die..with who gets the last laugh.

 

Now if some clown shoes are gonna keep killing them selves every 5 seconds whats the point. I mean, after the first five bitch ways out it gets boring.

Because GTA online is all about survival of the fittest Call of duty style. Get the f*ck out of here with your stupid logic. I remember one time you compared GTA online to pong in another thread. You can't compare things like these together because they're completely different games. Pong is very limited and has a lot of set rules, GTA online doesn't (only some rules about hacking, modding etc).

So basically they are too stupid to heal, use armor or avoid cops. They cant handle it and need to take the bitch route constantly.

 

Well, im glad that most people are not like this. Could only imagine these guys fighting each other. The kill feed would be filled with suicides.

Every 5 seconds, what exaggeration. I've probably seen 2-5 players do this in my entire since launch GTA online experience. It only put them in a serious disadvantage being put in random spawns, not give a ego boast. You'll have to be a complete noob to die from someone doing it. Anyone who does it knows afterwards that it's a stupid and desperate tactic that doesn't work against professional players.

That sad moment when you find out you`re not good at all because constantly use the easy way out.

 

You`re not smart kid.. We all know that option exists.. Some us of would simply rather suck donkey balls then take the bitch route.

 

And to those players who who never take the easy way out.. You guys are the ones that make the combat fun. Thank you.

I doubt it's constant, I don't think you know what some words actually mean (time to invest in a dictionary). Maybe every few minutes to get rid of cops. Some of us are that good but rather not fight a whole army of cops and you at the same time.

It's a tactic which is smart, but is also very underhanded and dirty.

 

It's not a big deal, it's just some players can't get with the times. If others players use that against you, why can't you do it against them?

Came across a few players doing that suicide RPG nonsense, and to be honest, it's quite a strange tactic if you ask me. It's a silly play-style, especially when two players do the same thing, and all you see is two players take the easy way out with no one getting the kill. There's nothing you can really do about it, except fight it out anyway or simply ignore them and leave session or move onto someone else. Modded combat rolls and floating heads is more of an issue for me than players killing themselves.

 

However, suicide to easily lose the cops, get a better spawn, survive a bounty, get full health and get out of risky situations I have no problem with.

So basically.. you dont ever want to loose health.. be in a bad spot... deal with cops or get killed by players. Yet you play still play a game that puts you in those situations constantly.

 

 

Well.. im glad not everyones like you, even tho this is an issue, its not used by everyone. Because damn this game would suck if it was all suicide spammers who feel entitled to always have the advantage and never deal with basic game play mechanics.

But R* should do more to curb suicide spam to prevent players from abusing it for no reason. Just because they dont have the advantage they want, is just not a good enough excuse as to why it should stay as is.. and why its acceptable to spam.

I like driving past players when I have a bounty, too. That's what makes the chase more exciting. I actually angered one guy because he couldn't keep up with me to claim my bounty, so he got mad when I survived it, and called me a modder. He even said ''Next time, hoe''.

But to use it as a way to constantly gain an advantage while said players chose to engage in PVP is not the intended use. And never was. This is something you either understand or dont.

 

To be honest im more shocked at how many people don't get it. And support it..

I use the easy way out occasionally when I feel for it, but I don't have really big problems with people who use it when they're low on health, surrounded by cops etc.

People get "mad" when there are god mode users, or other forms of cheats, etc. Does that make their complaints invalid? Not at all.

 

I don't suppose he is mad anyway; just pointing out the absurdity of this "tactic", and maybe hoping that it puts more of a spotlight on it (so that Rockstar might change the way things work).

 

This thread already has 25 pages of bickering and penis measuring competitions anyway, and unfortunately I think it'll be doomed to have 25 pages more as long as it keeps going round and round in circles.

 

My take on suicide is this anyway:

 

Good, sporting players will only suicide if the cops unfairly interrupt fights. Otherwise, they will accept that things aren't always going to go their way: you win some; you lose some.

 

Bad, unsporting players will suicide every time it looks like things aren't going their way (even if it's their own fault, and not that of the cops). Often, this will be before they've even been harmed in any way. They are generally the kind of people who would rather turn their console off at the end of a DM instead of accepting they lost it.
