Suicide is the kerb boosting of free roam fights.

 

It's a garbage mechanic that shouldn't be there to begin with, but not making use of it is a huge disadvantage. You can avoid it on principle, but others will abuse it and you will suffer for it.

No Suicide Lobbies was just one suggestion. I also proposed No Pegasus Vehcile lobbies for those who hate tanks and jets, no Cop lobbies for the suicide queens who can't handle 3 stars, so not necessarily saying I have a problem with it. But, I do recognize that it is one of the most pathetic "strategies" used in the game. What I'm proposing would benefit everyone, not just those of us who are laughing at Suicide Queens.

 

Grow a brain, read what I said in it's entirety and form a well thought out response before you reply to me again.

It still baffles me as to why someone else's suicide in a game affects you. Why would you care if someone kills themselves? If it angers you, then I will insist on doing it some more, to the point where you make a thread about it. That's when your self-defence instincts kick in and deny the fact that you're angry and pissy about others killing themselves when in in actuality, you are.

 

It's about our perception of un-sporting behaviour.

 

Not Bad Sport or cheating, just un-sporting. The fact that this game is about murder and mayhem is irrelevant it's still a competitive game.

 

When a player feels that they are being denied a win by an un-sporting type it irks them, and rightly so.

 

Footballers who deliberately hand-ball, or 'dive' in the penalty box are a good example. For the Americans among you, Basketball players who 'dribble' or baseball players who 'doctor' their bats. These are obviously cheats rather than simply being unsporting, but the effect on the fans is similar to this.

 

Pitches have been invaded because people really don't like being denied a win by unsporting behaviour. Referees have received death threats for not overturning a decision that allowed a team to get away with something that they shouldn't have.

 

People take their games seriously, computer based or otherwise, and they want to win at those games.

 

Being denied a win by someone who really really can't handle losing is extremely irritating.

 

But there is one thing we can all do about it: Don't play with them, at all. As soon as they start suiciding to deny you the kill, walk away. Leave them alone, change sessions if neccessary.

 

Pretty soon the only people they will be able to play with are other suicide drama queens. Imagine that if you will: A two hour battle and the end result is 0-0. Lol.

 

That should keep them happy.

I've seen that happen many times. I go passive to watch...and I even turn my chat to everyone to listen to it. Its quite the circus freak show.

The same reason people are affected by others use of passive mode - dips**ts just exploit it. i.e. They get a kill and then turn it on. In the case of suicide, it messes up pvp on foot. If everyone starts killing themselves whenever they get a scratch, then no one will ever kill anyone, and the battle never progresses beyond people desperately protecting that K/D.

I encountered a guy who would suicide as he fired an RPG. What did I do? Well, I ingored him and moved on. I then texted him on his silly, cheap tactics, but he only replied back with ''y u scared'' or ''ur garbage''. I don't care what he thinks of me. If you think that affects you, you're taking the game way too seriously.
