Majestic81
Whenever im on GTAF, almost every 15 minutes or so i get directed into stamplive.com or some other ad website. telling me to install fake programs such as flash player or some media player. This is only happening on Chrome and only when on GTAFourms, i ran a Malware Bytes scan and it did not detect anything. uninstalled Chrome and re installed it yesterday and the problem was gone, but when i switched on my PC today its back again. its causing the site to lag as well and load slowly, and im afraid its gonna end up f*cking my system soon. what should i do? There is no extensions other than Adblock on Chrome. Edited March 18, 2015 by Majestic81
Red Hat
1) Reset your browser 2) Run avast! Browser Cleaner 3) Install Adblock Plus. If that didn't help, try out "Option 2" from the link below. http://www.removeviruspro.com/how-to-remove-stamplive-com-pop-up/ Edited March 18, 2015 by Kevin3014 Majestic81
sivispacem
It's possible these are a result of malvertising delivered via Google AdSense. Can you provide screenshots? Yu Jian
I was getting something similar with a website like jimosofts.com (paraphrasing) and it would ask me to download a new version of Flash player. I reinstalled my browser and ran a virus scan and it did the trick. I suggest you do the same and see if it works for you.
