riotvision
If you shoot out your tires before entering LSC and then repair vehicle the tires will be fixed but the car will still be sitting on the ground. While in LSC you can make whatever changes you like and the ride hight is unaffected until you leave. Unfortunately once you leave LSC the vehicle will be back to normal. Fun to fool around with, but it would be really great if this glitch stuck. I've been trying different things like finding a new session while in LSC with spawn on Last Location but so far no luck. Sharing this with the forum in hopes of turning this into something better. If anyone discovers anything else interesting connected to this please post your findings here! gtuned
It's been known for a while. It's really just a great way to mock up how your cars will look when lowered. abnorm 1 Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/777082-slammed-suspension-glitch/#findComment-1067148203 Share on other sites

riotvision
It lowers beyond what the suspension upgrades allow. You can equip lowest suspension upgrade, then do this and it is even more extreme. You can also stance the car, lowering just the front or rear. I knew about shooting the wheels without BP tires to stance your car outside of LSC but that doesn't stick either. Nothing ever has stuck, or will stick. It's damaging your vehicle, it'll always get repaired, You can't really lock it to that low without modding the values. But this Sometimes lowers the car further than what the suspension even allows like with the Guardian and Rancher, but really all this is, is making it easier to see how your car looks lowered with both suspension and shooting. And there's a difference between Lowering and Stancing. Not the same thing. Frogboy
Guessing this is next gen only? Tried it on the 360 but the car is lifted inside of LSC despite the tires... Urban dictionary definition of "Stance": stance To destroy a cars handling abilities by having it lowered an excessive amount. Typically, the tires are tucked way inside the vehicles fenders. But in order to have a hellaflush stance and run the required excessively wide wheels with tires that are stretched just to fit onto the wheels, the car has to have an excessive amount of negative camber. If you stand behind one of these cars don't be surprised to see the rear tires looking like "/ \". The rear tires are probably bald on the inside and the outside still looks brand new, and there's probably only an inch of contact patch with the ground. A hellaflush stance car can't even pull into a driveway without bottoming out and ripping the bumper off or cracking the vehicles oil pan. Some stanced cars are so extreme that you can't even turn the vehicles steering wheel fully in either direction without the tires rubbing. riotvision
I would put up with effected handling abilities to be able to do this with certain vehicles in this game. Less tire contact do to camber angle would be great for drift cars and the slammed look is great for lowrider enthusiasts. Also, being able to lower the front and rear independently would open up a lot of styling options for cars like the Blade for example. gtuned
If you do this glitch the cars wheels are tucked inside the fenders and have negative camber... You're still wrong... A. Less than 5 cars have camber when you lower them B. The wheels will be "tucked" cause most of the cars in GTA aren't fitted to sit flush. C. GTA doesn't really replicate lower tire contact, or anything above 2 or 3 degrees of camber. I think the Gresley may get 5 or 6 degrees when lowered D. They're still not the god damn same. Lowering cars has been a thing long before dudebros in tank tops and flat bill caps decided to cut springs on their 98 accord and buy knockoff rims. Lowering a car has nothing to do with camber, or offset, or anything. You're just lowering the ride height. riotvision
This is most noticeable on vehicles with larger tires, low pros aren't effected as much. Here are a few more examples with the Sabre Turbo. Rear = LOWERED Front = LOWERED (NOTICE the tuck and negative camber) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rear = LOWERED Front = STOCK --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rear = STOCK Front = LOWERED --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I really don't care to debate tuner nerd semantics. The point of this thread is to figure out if we can make a legitimate glitch from this seemingly decent starting point. Paint glitches stick, part removal glitches stick, certain outfit glitches stick... Lets figure out how to make this suspension glitch stick. oleg_aka_djmeg
sometimes if i finish modding my car at beeker's or at lsc in blaine county, game won't give me the "leaving" fade out, thus if i shoot my tires and go there and fix the car, then leave, it will stick (for a limited time ofc). riotvision 1 Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/777082-slammed-suspension-glitch/#findComment-1067157163 Share on other sites

Awesome! Maybe this will make it stick long enough to take a few snaps outside of LSC? I'll test it out here in a few. Thanks for the info!
