I was surprised too when I found out that the armed one was a Pegasus vehicle. It makes sense though, people would be pissed if they were penalized 16k for defending themselves

Yep the version with the gun is a Pegasus vehicle. Can you imagine what lobbies would be like if R* had made it a PV.

Do you have to pay to bring the vehicle out? I've never used Pegasus before. what are the downsides of it ?

Yep. It's about a thousand for all Pegasus vehicles. There are no real downsides other than you need a friend to fire the gun.

Its actually either $200 or $250 to have it delivered. Downside is they get delivered at certain locations on the map so you have to drive to it.
