PC Delay?

If I was R* I would schedule the release for December 20th 2015 while I read rage threads on Gtaforums.

Not holding my breath. I already lost the majority of my hype compared to December and February. The game releases on PC? Good, I'll buy it. Another delay? Fine, I still have a PS3 with GTA V on it, might not look pretty but hey, it's playable.

 

I'm not buying the game if they delay it once more.

We're all in the same boat and getting nervous.... Holding back on info until the very last minute is R*'s trademark, but it does leave you stressing about if the news will be good or bad.

 

I think we are all in the same boat now as the two weeks deadline hurtles towards us.

If R* doesn't give any news next week, then it won't make any difference to me because the lack of information from the next week will confirm the june delay. I'm already expecting another delay and I'm prepared for it, those who are overhyping themselves again will be the same ones who will get extremely disappointed and flaming everywhere for commiting the same mistake if the delay ends happening... again.

 

This situation with R* and PC is beyond a joke, not even the company who is developing project cars is lacking proffisionalism like R* is lacking right now.

by worse gameplay i mean the following: arcade driving, tweaked RAGE physics (less ragdoll, less damage on cars, less jumping > if you want to jump from one roof to another they fall on their nose, wow how cool is that, they pull off stressful heists but can't jump, nice R*, nice!), lack of side content/activities, lack of minigames and more

Clearly you've never attended another Rockstar PC release before. It means nothing. It's in fact more likely we'll start getting actual info in the 2 weeks before the game launches. As stated before, we didn't get any PC specific info until around 2 weeks prior to Max Payne 3's launch.

This is an experience from who got his vacation destroyed by R*. If they don't release any info until 31 march or in this next week, then the game will get delayed again, it's that simple. You seem that never attended any of the GTA V PC release dates before, well, you seem that you didn't followed this game development on PC and just started doing it now.

 

It doesn't makes any sense what R* is doing with the PC community, this was their last chance to fix their reputation among the PC gamers and they just ruined it thanks to GTA Online useless DLCs. If they were spending all this time on the PC version, then we would be playing this game since last year.

GTA V ahs worse driving than IV but a much better world. It's more retard friendly. that doesnt make it the worst though, I mean what about old gen gtas, they're all pretty arcadey driving wise.

I had an unchangeable vacation booked for the week of January 27 as well. Deal with it. There is no delay until there's a delay. You don't know (no matter how much you'd like to think you do) what's happening. If they don't delay it by or on the 31st, there will be no delay. Rockstar ALWAYS gives their PC games SIGNIFICANTLY less marketing.

 

Hell, they'll probably even run a TV spot the week of release saying "Grand theft auto V - out not on Playstation 4 and Xbox One, coming April 14th to PC". They didn't even release Max Payne 3 PC info until a week before it launched. It didn't even get a trailer until the day of launch. So no, you know nothing. "It's that simple".

You have 2 big vacations in a single year, but some people here actually have a job and every vacation is precious. I was counting with the fall release cuz I would be back to work at 19 january, now my next vacation is "fall 2015".

 

About your question. I have DMC 1 on PC, Cities: Skylines (which I bought with GTA V pre-order money) and a heavy modded Skyrim to keep me busy until April 14(?).

Steam gives 2 weeks to the companies announce delays on their games, so they have until march 31 to give any info (officially), but if they don't tell us nothing until next week, then the delay is confirmed, but even I must admit that the 4th delay is hard to happen because the way they told to the PC gamers to expect some issues at the first day makes explicit that they will heed our call.

The game is 1,5 years old, we know pretty much about it. So Rockstar doesn't want to release a spare trailer 3 weeks before release, the'll just come up with the launch trailer (or maybe even launch trailer and "new features trailer" all at once) a week before release.
