Which is the hardest heist setup/finale with randoms for you?

Recommended Posts

My board has been stuck on the station setup for prison break since launch, so i'm gonna say that one.

Every time i try and get a team together, they either suck and keep dying, or i'll be in a lobby waiting for people to join so long that i get annoyed and stop trying

The prison break station is probably the most unpopular heist setup; they are always appearing when i pay gta online.

EMP deliver took me days before I had a crew "competent" enough to finish it. Still took at least 10 tries before the one jerk stopped going in with the sniper rifle and blowing it. I'm still surprised the others didn't leave.

Really its prison break finale, deliver emp and pacific standard finale - I always sigh when I see a player joining thats like level 4 because i know then we're all f*cked. Deliver emp is impossible without mics and even then people dont even listen to you. Pacific standard finale is hard because 8/10 times, we fail because of the bikes and the cops ramming them off. No-one seems to work out that you can just ditch the bikes and get yourself a 4 seater vehicle.

I don't get how people can still be so bad at this game after it's been out for so long. You'd think 90% or more of the players would know what to do in the heist setups/finales by now. Seems like that number is closer to 9% than 90%, though.

That will be the deliver EMP mission.

I really like heists, they are challenging, have a good payout and require some preparation (?).

Most of the time, when playing a heist, the following happens:

On the first attempt I try to do the heist as well as possible, think about every move, every enemy, or drive (for example) the prison bus (in the finale) as good as possible, take cover, plan your way, possibly find and steal a police helicopter (when usefull), etc...

but then we fail because some dude can't avoid missiles in a velum,

or because everyone else just runs to the enemies (as they want to show how 'good' they are),

or because upon entering the velum, they just run in front of the velum while I am still landing (!) ,

or because they run into the tail rotor of the buzzard,

or because they can't parachute (really !?),

or because they insist the buzzard to become a fish,

or because they grab their grab their rocket launchers as soon as they can and shoot without aiming (properly) and killing them selves,

or because in the prison finale, the dude that has to destroy the proson bus drives it into the prison instead,

Or because they simply can't hack or drill (fleeca),

Or because they appearently don't know what 'killing enemies without raising the alarm' means,

Or because they can't doing something simple as destroying some cars (without killing themselves (station setup)).

I think I forgot some, but anyway, during the second attempt I doing less my best, and eventually, not doing my best at all (and even then, most of the time I'm doing pretty well).

Occasionally, you might be able to complete a heist with strangers, but most of the time, just don't even think about trying it !

Prison break, by far. Most pilots don't even know how to evade the police on air.

i get so fruststrated when the demolition dies. i avoid the heist like the plague but jezus f*cking chirst demolition literally doesnt have to do anything! im usally the pilot so i fly behind the jet and somehow demoltion always f*cks up.

Deliver EMP because they always run into the base thinking they are a one man army...then get killed and spotted at the same time. The Pacific Standard is pretty hard too because you have sometimes people who run around like headless chickens and die every ten seconds, and you feel like you're the only one who's capable of doing it. Worse when they are a higher level, because I'm only rank 101.

Really its prison break finale, deliver emp and pacific standard finale

I would probably go with these 3 also.

For some reason every time I join a PB finale the host gives the lowest ranks the prisoner and guard role. If they give me demo or pilot they get 2 chances and im gone because f*ck that lol

Pacific can be difficult because many times host does not choose player saved outfits and not everyone is good on a bike. When players start dying on the way to the bikes, you know right there they are not gonna make it on the bikes.

Deliver EMP just sucks. Its a long ass drive to begin with so you have to wait for everyone. I try to message players to just meet at the lab but they never listen.

Another one which is actually the easiest one seems one of the most difficult for low ranks and that is Pac-VANS setup. They are just too gun happy for this one.

EMP is probably the most difficult setup cause it doesnt matter if you put it on easy or hard to begin with. Atleast ive seen the most fails in this one eventhough you can do it solo if the others just stay out of site and do nothing. I would say ASOF Weed comes in second cause the drive back is tricky for lowranks specially if you get boxed in by enemy or even retard npc drivers lol

Most difficult finale is tough, Prison break itself aint that hard IF the right people have the right job else its a nightmare. Pac S has the problem that hardly any use the custom outfits for hvy suit and bp helmet. From the bank 2 bikes can be a pain if they dont know the route or use custom outfit and then pray everyone goes in a kuruma or the cop car. Id go for Pac first PB second but both suck.

I loved heists but randoms either by fail or quitting mid job put has made me quit playing them. Imo the heist leader rank shoulda been atleast lvl 40?(where you get full body armor bar) to begin with.

Yeah, the Deliver the EMP is really bad. Especially if you play with randoms.

  • Start setup
  • suggest "Trip Skip"
  • no response, they all get in their super cars
  • I arrive first to the insurgent, have to wait 10 minutes for them
  • Drive to Humane Labs
  • Alert guards, restart
  • alert guards, restart
  • alert guards, restart
  • etc. etc.

Something I realized after posting in this thread is if you get there first you can blow up insurgent then restart and all will spawn at insurgent ;oD

Ah screw the heists and their 20min loading times and always, ALWAYS there's that one guy who kills everyone after the setup/finale. Unless you're in passive mode, that is.

I'm still doing the Criminal Mastermind Challenge with friends.

But thanks for the tip. Might take 2-3 rockets or grenades to blow up the Insurgent.

yea I actually just tried it lol It was at least 3 rpg. I made sure I got in it first though.

The Insurgent's close to the Alamo Sea. It's deficiently gonna destroy if you drive it into the sea. Might save few rockets. Or ammo doesn't count when it comes to the heists. Edited by --V--

I refuse to do these unless I find a good group. I refer to these as 'High BS potential'

Prison break:

Station

Wet work

Even bus setup, lately low levels have been struggling with

Finale

Humane Labs:

Key codes

EMP

Deliver EMP

Series A:

All the setups

Pac stan:

Vans

Signal

I only do the last two to have a better chance of get invited to finale.

I don't need money as badly as I used to so can afford to be picky now. Fun is the most important thing for me now

well my longest Heist session has to be that 1 hour PS finale sessions with some random players ... first, the saved outfits option was off ( It KILLS me everytime that Hosts leave it off ) , we had no kuruma or something so we had to do it with the bikes , and it looks like the randoms don t know much about PS glitches or tricks ( like the fact that the hacker doesn t have to step out of the bank to take the checkpoint , or the "suicide trick" once reacing the bikes so that we all spawn next to them etc... ) so that made it even harder ... I recognise that i had some fails too , like I fall off the lectro once & got killed by the police , or my landing on a cliff far away from the dingy & my death trying to jump off it ... but they all died so many times man .... we finished having only 700k & playing the finale for 1 freaking hour or more ...

but generally speaking , the trickiest Heist setup/finale has to be Delivering EMP.. I know that it isn´t the hardest but definitely the Setup that i repeated the most , i think ... Team work is vital otherwise you´d easily alert those guards ....

the first Humane Labs Setup (getting the HL access cards ) was pretty tricky everytime I played it , you got surrounded by those FIB agents very fast especially as a ground team , and there aren t so many good covers down there...

PS : prison Break finale is tricky ,too ... but I somehow manage to make my way easily through the prison because I always take my time and tell the other player to do so .... and after discovering that you can park a kuruma next to the prison entry , make your way into the prison in the bus then going back to the kuruma and driving in&picking up the professor , it became a piece of cake ( but that was my last time playing Prison break finale , i think 2 months ago or something )

Hardest setup? Pacific Standard - Convoy without a doubt. Rather than shooting the first Savage from afar with sniper rifles, eight times out of ten I get people who insist on waiting until the thing gets into homing launcher range. That wouldn't be a problem if it weren't for the fact that none of them know how to lock onto the target, so they are mostly just aimlessly shooting rockets all around the Savage rather than actually at it. By the time they've finally locked on, we've already got a huge wall of missile spam coming to tell us how stupid we are. If it weren't for that first Savage, Humane Raid - Deliver EMP would be the top dog in the same way the T20 is the top dog of old gen.

Hardest finale? Pacific Standard. This is the only heist I haven't completed yet. Out of the probably forty five different crew combinations I've attempted this heist with, only two have managed to make it to the bikes. There's always that one guy who throws a grenade that bounces off of a dumpster back towards himself or that one guy who doesn't pay attention to the NOOSE agents swarming the entrance. I would love to remedy all of this with that nice little cheat called the kuruma/insurgent method, but it makes it a little difficult to carry it out when someone dies before I can even get down the alley way let alone the apartment at the end. This heist isn't even all that hard to begin with. All you'd have to do is have two people focusing on opposition from the front, and the other two focusing on the rear opposition. This is assuming that no one on the team is an idiot who doesn't know how to properly aim a grenade.

Haha that's why I use stickies. Just to be safe.

If you have minigun just solo run to the bikes. The less people go the less cops will spawn. If crowd control doesn't mess up and there's no noose it can be done even without heavy vest.

Randoms cannot be trusted to survive out there.

recently (as of tonight) i was hosting the pac standard setup where you have to steal a server setup from a heist crew with a friend and two low level randoms (one was level 15 and the other was 16), i had it set on hard but we hard to restart more then once because both the low levels kept dying! :dozing:

Getting players to join a set up

i know how you feel, sometimes you can wait an hour.

I find just riding in a vehicle down the street with most randoms to be a difficult task; let alone doing a heist! :p Even during the last set of contact missions that I participated in, I had someone blow up my car, run me down in their car, and someone (the host) who went idle or dicked around on the other side of town just to collect easy pay.

I think I'm a bit jaded these days with random players as a whole; I'll only do heists with people that I know. Even if we aren't taking it seriously, it can still be fun, but trying to do these things with randoms is often asking for misery--especially when some are just there to troll or f*ck around and waste time.

Despite this, I have tried a couple of set-ups with purely random players, and not counting anything related to Fleeca, I have tried Pacific Standard: Hack and Pacific Standard: Convoy. During Hack, we had one person who could not even follow the directive, so it was a rather gruelling and wasteful experience. When it came to Convoy, the same two people kept dying over and over and over again (because they wanted to be all Rambo like) until I backed out when I had come to the conclusion that I had wasted enough time.

So, I suppose my vote goes for all unless you're lucky with finding randoms.

Convoy

Deliver EMP

Prison Break heist - especially if the low level is the demoliotion/pilot

Vans - you won't believe the amount of times people have left this set up.. my god. I've had players die on this f*cking set up ffs

Weekendwarrior

Fleeca Job - Scope Out.

Ever since that random guy got Lester's car stuck so badly that it failed the mission.

I honestly thought this setup was impossible to fail at one point until the same happened to me. Stil smh to this day everytime I think about it

last night i was hosting pacific standard convoy with a full lobby with randoms and one friend, we ended up having a player that was being a asshole troll.

we got to the bridge the troll rammed his supercar into my rh8 (it was no accident) so i shot at him.

but after he raced off to intercept the convoy he wasted our one precious life and we got killed we restarted.

on tries 2 and 3 he pushed my car into the river by then everyone in the lobby was getting pissed at him and we started shooting at the troll's car it got blown up and i blew into the alamo sea.

i voted to kick the troll and messaged my friend asking him to kick as well.

i ended up having to go into free roam because of not enough players.

Without a mic?

Definitely Deliver The EMP & Prison Break finale ... But if you have a mic & coordinate it, it goes smoothly & like an action movie.

Overall?

1) Fleece Job, Scope Out. ADD kiddies who keep shooting outta the car for no reason or whatsoever & alert the cops.

2) The Pacific Standard Finale. There's always this one asshole who won't play ball & ruin it for everyone else ...

It took me 2 months to pass Station & Deliver The EMP. When I finished Humane Raid I skipped SeriesA & went straight to Pacific Standard. Once I finished it & got my awards, I swore I'll never host a heist again
